Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13258913-00
Which side is this headlamp chrome strip for and how do I know I am picking the right one?
Yes, this one is listed for the right side, fitted at the front of the car. Left and right can be confusing when you are looking at a part in your hands rather than sitting in the driver's seat, so before ordering take a look at the photographs on this page, which show exactly where this trim sits and which way it faces. Match that against the position of the damaged piece on your own car, so you can be sure you are ordering the correct side.
What if the number on my old part does not match this one?
Check the number stamped on the part you are taking off before ordering anything. This strip carries OE number 13258913-00, and that is the figure to match against what is on your old trim, not the vehicle model alone. If the number differs, do not order this listing. Take the time to find the stamped number, write it down, and hold it next to 13258913-00 before you commit to the price shown on this page.
What is this chrome strip made of?
This strip is made of plastic. That is the only material listed for this part, so if you are looking for a different material entirely, this is not the version to choose. It is also listed as SC2E-4121154, which is worth checking against any code you already hold for this trim, whether from your own records or from another supplier. If that reference matches, you can be confident you are looking at the same plastic strip listed here under OE number 13258913-00.
