About This Part
Genuine BYD ultrasonic parking sensor, OE 15687527-00 (also HA2E-3603300G-00HCJ), in the Urdu Milky Grey-Green body-colour finish. This PDC sensor mounts in the bumper and feeds the park assist system for close-range obstacle detection. It fits the BYD Yuan UP 2023-2025. A reversing sensor that no longer chimes or reads distance correctly is usually replaced as a unit, and this proximity sensor is a plug-in match for the original probe.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 15687527-00
It says one model. Does that mean it will not work on anything else?
It means nothing else has been confirmed. This sensor is catalogued against a single model, the Yuan UP, and the fitment on this page goes no further than that. A probe of the same size from another car is not evidence of a fit. If your car is a different model and the sensor looks the same, check before you buy. Check the OE number 15687527-00 against the marking on your old probe, or send a photograph of the old part and its label through the quote route on this page and we will confirm the match.
My old probe has a long code on the back. Is that the same part?
Quite possibly. This sensor is also known as HA2E-3603300G-00HCJ as well as the OE number 15687527-00, and the longer code is the style that is often printed on the body of a probe. Copy the whole string, including everything after the last hyphen, rather than stopping halfway. If the print has worn off, send a photograph of the old part and its label through the quote route on this page instead of matching by eye, since probes of this size are hard to tell apart once they are out of the car.
How long will I be waiting for this sensor?
Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. If more than one probe on the car has failed, or the bumper is coming off anyway, order what you need in one go rather than a probe at a time. Where the date matters, ask through the quote route on this page and we will confirm which of the two applies to this OE number now.
What is the probe made of and how does it turn up?
The body is plastic and it is supplied new. Keep it in the box until the bumper is ready, because the face of it is a finished surface in Urdu Milky Grey-Green. Check the fitment table on this page against your own car before you order it.
The probe shows in the bumper. Does the colour need matching?
It is supplied in Urdu Milky Grey-Green, which is the colour listed for this OE number, so on a car finished in that shade nothing further is expected. No other colour is offered for this OE number, and nothing here describes it as primed or ready for paint. Since the face of the probe is exposed on the outside of the car, the colour question is one to settle before it is fitted rather than after. If you are unsure which shade your car takes, check the fitment table on this page.
Where on the car does this probe go?
It mounts on the exterior of the car, and it belongs to the park assist group of parts. No side is specified for this OE number, so there is no left or right version to choose between when you order. Which position it takes on your particular car is not something to guess at. Use the fitment table on this page to settle that before the bumper comes off.
Is a cheaper equivalent probe available?
Not against this reference. The sensor is listed in the Original/Genuine tier only, from BYD, with no Aftermarket version catalogued, so the price shown on this page is for the genuine probe and there is nothing to compare it against here. On a part that talks to a system on the car, we would rather show one verified option than an unverified second one. If you want alternatives looked into, send the OE number 15687527-00 through the quote route on this page.
