Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13777456-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
What is the difference between Original/Genuine and Aftermarket for this tailgate?
The two tiers differ in who made the part and how closely it matches the branded finish and fit of the car. Both share the same OE number, so either will fit correctly, but if you want the maker's own build rather than an equivalent, that choice matters to you. The clearest way to settle it for your budget and your car is to run it through the quote route on this page, checking your old tailgate's OE number to see what is available.
The number on my old tailgate does not match 13777456-00, what now?
Do not order on memory. Take the old tailgate off the car, or look at it in place, and read the number stamped or printed on it directly. Compare that against 13777456-00 and against the other reference, SC2EM-6301010/77, since either could be shown on your part. If neither matches what you see, hold off and use the quote route on this page instead of guessing, so the part you receive is the one your tailgate actually carries.
How will a tailgate this size actually get delivered to me?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. The packaging details are shown on this page. Before it arrives, take the OE number stamped on your old tailgate and check it against 13777456-00 on this page, along with the SC2EM-6301010/77 reference. That confirms you are ordering the right part before delivery is even arranged. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
What is this tailgate made of?
It is made of metal. Have a look at the photographs on this page before you order, so you can see the panel shape and finish for yourself and check it matches what has come off the car. This is the new assembly listed for the BYD Yuan PLUS under OE number 13777456-00, also listed as SC2EM-6301010/77. If anything about the shape or fittings looks different from your old tailgate in the photos, hold off ordering and check the OE number against the old part first.
Where does this tailgate fit on my Yuan PLUS?
This is the rear tailgate, the full panel that lifts up at the back of the car, listed for the BYD Yuan PLUS under OE number 13777456-00, also shown as SC2EM-6301010/77. Before you order, check that number against the one stamped or labelled on your own tailgate to confirm it matches. It is made of metal and comes new. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote.
