Price shown without any local sales tax. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Import taxes and duty in Hong Kong SAR are not included and may be charged when the parcel arrives.
About This Part
Tailgate frame weatherstrip in black rubber for BYD group models, including the Fangchengbao Bao 5 Smart Driving (2024-2026), BYD New e6 (2020-2026) and Fangchengbao Bao 5 Player (2024-2025). This continuous tailgate seal runs around the rear opening to keep out water, dust and wind noise, carrying OE reference 13991707-00 (alternate SFH-5407115). The flexible weatherstrip presses onto the body flange along the exterior of the tailgate aperture. Its bulb profile compresses as the tailgate closes for a firm rubber seal.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13991707-00
The number on my old part is different from 13991707-00, what now?
Numbers can vary between suppliers, so do not rule this part out on that basis alone. Instead, look at the model and model year exactly as printed on your registration document, and match those against the fitment table on this page. That is the surest way to confirm this tailgate frame weatherstrip is the right one for your Bao 5, rather than relying on a figure stamped on the old rubber, which may not match what we list it under.
How will a part this size be delivered to me?
The packaging details are shown on this page. It comes as a standard parcel rather than a pallet delivery. Before you order, find the number stamped on the old weatherstrip you are removing and set it against the OE number on this page, 13991707-00. That single check confirms the strip in the box matches the one coming off your tailgate frame, which matters more than the box it travels in.
What is the tailgate frame weatherstrip made of?
This is a rubber strip, black, and listed as new. Rubber is a fitted part so it needs to be an exact match for your tailgate frame rather than a general size. Confirm your Bao 5 is listed before ordering by checking the fitment table on this page, and match the OE number 13991707-00 against the marking on your old strip if it is still legible. Getting the wrong section can leave gaps at the tailgate frame, so fitment confirmation matters more than colour or finish here.
Does this weatherstrip need painting to match the car?
No finishing work is mentioned for this part, and being black rubber it is not the kind of trim that takes paint anyway. If you want to double check exactly what you are getting before it arrives, this item is also listed under the reference SFH-5407115, so you can cross that against any other listing to be certain it is the same weatherstrip.
Where does this weatherstrip fit on the car?
It sits at the rear of the car, running around the tailgate frame itself rather than on a door or window opening. It belongs to the locks, latches and sunroof group within body and exterior parts, which reflects its job of sealing that opening. If you want to see exactly where it sits before ordering, this is one to check against the fitment table on this page rather than guess from the name alone.
