Frequently Asked Questions: OE 12798302-00
The label on my unit reads SCED-2142070E. Is that this listing?
Yes, the reference SCED-2142070E appears for this part alongside OE 12798302-00, so a unit labelled either way lands on the same page. Control units usually carry more than one printed reference, and reading the wrong line off a label is an easy mistake to make. Take a clear look at the label on the unit in the car and compare every reference on it with both numbers. If none of them line up, do not order on a guess. Send us what the label says through the quote route.
How quickly can this control unit be sent?
Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. Because a control unit is usually ordered against a car that is already off the road and waiting, ask us to confirm the present position on OE 12798302-00 before you commit to it, then set the workshop date against the answer you get from us. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay.
What is this control unit made of?
The housing is plastic. What the buyer can use that for is handling. Keep it dry and unsquashed, and leave it boxed until the fitter is ready for it. Check the label on the delivered unit against the references on this page before the old one comes out of the car.
Why is only one version of this unit available here?
Only one version is set up against OE 12798302-00, the Original/Genuine unit from BYD, with no Aftermarket option beside it. That is why the page shows a single tier and not a choice. It reflects what we currently stock rather than a view on anything sold elsewhere. If somebody has quoted you an alternative for the Yuan Pro and you want to know whether it matches this unit, send its reference to us on the quote route. Should an Aftermarket option be added for this part, it will appear on this page.
