Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13555090-00
What if the number on my old part is different from this one?
If the number on your old flap does not match 13555090-00, do not assume it is a straightforward swap. This listing applies to the Seal 05 DM-i and Qin PLUS, so check the model and the model year shown on your registration document against what is listed here before you order. That is the quickest way to confirm you are looking at the right flap for your car. If the numbers still do not line up, hold off ordering until you have checked those details properly.
What is this charge port flap made of?
Black plastic. This part is also known under the reference HA2HE-5401820B, so if you are cross-checking against another listing or an old invoice, search under that number as well as 13555090-00. Having both references to hand makes it easier to confirm you have matched the right flap before you order.
Does this flap need painting or finishing to match my car?
This flap is supplied in black, not primed for another colour and not pre-finished to a specific paintwork shade. If your car is black this may already suit, but for any other colour you will need to have it painted to match before fitting, since it is not supplied ready coloured to order. Before you buy, check the number stamped on the part you are taking off the car, to make sure it is the correct flap and not just a similar shape in a different finish.
Where does this flap actually go on the Seal 05 DM-i or Qin PLUS?
This is the charge port flap, the small panel covering the AC charging socket on the body of the car, carrying OE number 13555090-00. It sits flush with the exterior and opens to give access to the port underneath. Because it is a body panel matched to a specific socket location, fitment needs checking against your exact model before you order. Use the quote route on this page and send a photograph of the old flap along with its OE number so the team can confirm it matches before it is sent out.
