Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13038648-00
What if the number on my old filter does not match 13038648-00?
Do not fit this one on a guess. Take the old filter out first and check the number printed or stamped on its housing or casing against the OE number 13038648-00 given here, or against the code HDF-8121211E/97. If neither matches what is on the page, hold off ordering. Use the fitment table on this page to confirm your vehicle before you buy, and keep the old part to hand so you can compare it directly rather than working from memory.
How long before my cabin filter turns up?
The delivery time is 8 to 25 days, from order to door. Order it as soon as you know the old one needs changing rather than waiting until the cabin starts smelling musty. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the OE number on your old part against the one on this page.
What is the cabin air filter for the BYD Yuan Pro made of?
This is a fabric filter element, the material used to trap dust and debris from the air entering the cabin. It is new, not reconditioned. Check the OE number on the old part, 13038648-00, against the one listed here before you order, and use the fitment table on this page if you are unsure.
Where is the cabin filter located on the car?
Inside the cabin is where this filter sits, fitted as part of the evaporator, blower and heater assembly that handles air entering the car. It is not an underbonnet or exterior part, so look inside the vehicle rather than under the bonnet when you are locating it. If you are checking this against parts lists or a workshop manual, the same filter is also listed under the reference HDF-8121211E/97, which can help confirm you have the right listing when the OE number alone does not match what you see written down.
Does this filter come in a cheaper aftermarket option?
No. This page shows only the Original/Genuine listing for OE number 13038648-00, so there is no aftermarket price to compare it against here. If you would rather fit a lower cost aftermarket filter, check the OE number stamped on the old filter you are removing and use the quote route on this page to ask for that alternative to be priced and sourced for you.
