Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13744211-00
Why can I not just add this to the basket and pay?
A curtain airbag module is not sold as a straight online purchase, because fitment on this kind of safety part has to be checked before an order is placed. Use the quote route on this page and enter the model and the model year exactly as they appear on the registration document. That lets the correct OE 13744211-00 unit be matched to the car before anything is confirmed, rather than risking the wrong module being sent out and fitted.
How do I know this is the right side for my car and not the left one?
This listing is for the right side curtain airbag module, OE number 13744211-00. If you are not certain which side yours is, use the quote route on this page and send a photograph of the old part and its label so the correct side can be confirmed against the OE number before anything is ordered. Getting this wrong means a part that will not fit, so it is worth confirming first rather than guessing from memory or from where the fault appears to be.
The number on my old part does not match 13744211-00, what now?
Do not order yet. Take the old airbag module out, or look at it in place, and read the number stamped or printed on it. Compare that against OE number 13744211-00 for this listing before you buy. If the two do not match, hold off and get the number confirmed rather than guessing. Ordering on a number you are unsure of is the most common reason a part gets sent back. A clear photo or a close look at the old unit settles it in a minute and saves the hassle of fitting the wrong one.
Can I fit a curtain airbag module myself?
Before ordering, check the OE number stamped on the part you are removing against 13744211-00 for this Right side unit, since airbag modules are side specific and the wrong side will not sit correctly. This is a fabric assembly fitted inside the vehicle, listed new and made in China. Keep the old curtain airbag module (right) until the new one is fitted, in case the two need comparing.
How will a part this size be delivered to me?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. The packaging details for this module are shown on this page. Before you order, check the OE number on the old module against 13744211-00, and confirm this is the right side for your Sealion 07 EV by checking the fitment table on this page. That way the module that turns up matches what your car needs, without any guesswork over left and right once it is fitted.
