Frequently Asked Questions: OE 12568313-00
My old compressor carries a different number. Is this the same unit?
Check it against SCED-8103020 first. That reference is used for the same electric compressor as OE 12568313-00, so either marking points at this listing. On a unit that has been on the car for years the label can be dirty or partly rubbed away, so clean it before you read it. If the number you find matches neither of ours, do not order on a guess. Send a photograph of the label through the quote route on this page and we will match it against the fitment table.
How soon can I have it?
The delivery time is 8 to 28 days, from order to door. If you need to confirm timing for a fleet vehicle, ask through the quote route on this page and quote OE 12568313-00. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the OE number on your old part against the one on this page.
It is a heavy item. How is it delivered?
The packaging details are shown on this page. Have somebody at the delivery address who can take the parcel in when it arrives, or nominate a workshop or business address if that suits your day better. Check OE 12568313-00 on the label as soon as it arrives and compare it with the unit you are taking off before you begin the job.
What is the compressor made of?
Metal is the material given for it. Beyond that we offer no detail on the alloy or on the housing finish, so none is offered here and none should be assumed. If you need a material answer in writing for an insurance job or a fleet record, ask through the quote route on this page and quote OE 12568313-00 so that the enquiry reaches the right listing straight away.
Where is this compressor mounted?
In the engine bay. That is the mounting position given for OE 12568313-00, so the work happens under the bonnet and not from inside the car. Read the fitment table on this page against your own model before ordering, because this compressor is listed for a short range of BYD vehicles and not a broad one.
Why is there no aftermarket compressor listed?
Because none is carried for this OE number. The listing shows the Original/Genuine tier only, a BYD unit, and no Aftermarket equivalent is offered for 12568313-00. On products where both tiers exist, both appear on the page, so a single tier here is a statement about supply and not an oversight on ours. If an Aftermarket option would suit the job better, ask us through the quote route on this page and we will look at what can be sourced for you.
