Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13775394-00
What if the number on my old column is different from this one?
Do not fit this on the strength of the description alone. Take the column out, or get eyes on it while it is still on the car, and read the number stamped or printed on the old unit. If it does not match 13775394-00 or the listed cross reference SA3HJ-3414010, this is not your part, even if the car looks right. A mismatched steering column can affect fitment and electrical connection, so confirm before you order.
Is this something I can fit myself or do I need a garage?
Yes, this is best fitted by a professional. Before fitting, look at the photographs on this page and check the connector end and the universal joint match what you are removing from the car, since a part carrying the OE number 13775394-00 needs to line up exactly with the old one. If anything looks different from the photographs, stop and check the fitment table on this page rather than force it into place. New and made of metal, it is ready to install once confirmed.
What is the steering column made of?
This is a metal steering column, matched to the OE number 13775394-00 for the BYD Song PLUS. It is a new unit, not reconditioned, and it is also listed under the reference SA3HJ-3414010, so check that number too if you are matching parts. Delivery takes 8 to 28 days from your order to your door.
How do I know this steering column is right for my Song PLUS?
Match it by the model and model year shown on your registration document, since electric power steering columns are built to suit a specific production run. Check that detail before ordering rather than going on the model name alone. The OE number 13775394-00 is also listed as SA3HJ-3414010, so either reference confirms the same part. If you are at all unsure how your registration document details line up with what is needed, use the quote route on this page and we will confirm it against your vehicle before you order.
