Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13702063-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
Is this fender for the left or right side of the car?
This listing is for the left fender only. Before ordering, take a look at the panel currently fitted and check which side is damaged, since a left and right fender are mirror images and will not fit the opposite corner. If you are not certain which side yours is, check the number stamped on the part you are taking off against 13702063-00, so you can confirm the match before it arrives.
What is the difference between the Original/Genuine and Aftermarket versions of this fender?
That comes down to how the panel looks up close, so have a look at the photographs on this page before you order. Fit and finish can be judged by eye in a way a written description cannot capture. If you already know which standard your BYD Destroyer 05 needs, check the images against the old panel you are replacing. Match the shape and mounting points shown before confirming your choice, especially if the left fender has any damage near the edges that makes comparison harder.
The number on my old fender does not match 13702063-00, what now?
Do not fit it on the strength of a similar description alone. Use the quote route on this page and send a photograph of your old part and its label, along with the number from it. That way the fitment is checked against the OE number rather than guessed at. It only takes a moment and it saves the cost and hassle of sending back a part that turns out to be the wrong one for your build.
How will a fender this size be delivered?
The packaging details for this fender are shown on this page. Before it arrives, check the side, the position and the fixings on your own car so you are ready to fit it as soon as it turns up. Confirm the OE number on the old fender against 13702063-00 using the fitment table on this page, so you know this left fender is the correct one for your Destroyer 05 before you order it and wait for delivery to arrive at your address.
What is this fender made of?
Metal, not plastic, is what this fender is made from, so unlike a plastic wing it does not flex and needs handling as a rigid panel. It is supplied new. To be sure this is the correct panel for your BYD Destroyer 05, check the alternative reference this part is listed under, HA2HJ-8403010/77, and match it against any documentation you already hold for the vehicle.
