About This Part
Left front bumper mesh trim panel for the BYD Dolphin, listed as OE 13258594-00 with reference EM2E-2803121C. It caps the left lower air intake on the Dolphin and Dolphin Glory across the 2021 to 2026 range, mirroring the right-side panel. Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13258594-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
Is this the left side or the right side bumper trim?
This one is listed as the left side, fitted to the front bumper of the BYD Dolphin. Only the left side is shown here, so if you need the other side you will need the right hand equivalent. Open the fitment table on this page and check that your model and model year appear against the left side listing before you order, so you know this is the piece that matches the side you are replacing.
What is the difference between Original and Aftermarket for this trim?
This listing covers one version, matched to OE number 13258594-00. If you want to compare against the alternative reference it is also listed under, EM2E-2803121C, search that code on the fitment table on this page to see whether a second option comes up for your Dolphin. If nothing else appears there, this is the only one listed, so check the number on your old trim before ordering.
The number on my old trim panel is different, can I still use this one?
If the number on your old part does not match 13258594-00, this is not the right listing for your car. Look at the photographs on this page and compare the shape, the mesh pattern and the mounting points against the part fitted to your bumper now. If anything does not line up, hold off ordering and check the number on the old part again before you go ahead, since the OE number is the surest way to confirm a match.
What is this trim panel made of?
It is moulded black plastic, made new rather than reconditioned. Before you order, have the old panel out of the bumper and in front of you, and check the OE number 13258594-00 against what is stamped or moulded on it. This part is also listed under EM2E-2803121C, so either number is worth checking against the old panel. If the numbers line up, you can order with confidence that the shape and fit will match.
Will I need to paint this trim panel to match my car?
No painting is needed for this piece, since it is supplied finished in black and ready to fit onto the car. It is a new part, not a plastic trim requiring colour coding to the bodywork. Before you order, check the model and the model year as written on your registration document against the fitment table on this page, so you know this black finish is listed for your exact BYD Dolphin rather than a similar version of the same name.
