Frequently Asked Questions: OE 20536716-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
How do I know which quality tier to order?
Have the old bumper cover in front of you before you choose. Check the fixings, the shape around the lights and grille, and the finish against what is listed, since that is what tells you whether Original/Genuine or Aftermarket matches what came off the car. This is a plastic exterior panel with the OE number 20536716-00, also listed as SA3EDA-2803111/17. Match those details to your part first, then order using the fitment table on this page to confirm it suits your Song PLUS EV.
What if the number on my old bumper does not match this one?
This cover is listed under OE number 20536716-00, also shown as SA3EDA-2803111/17, so check both before deciding it does not match. If neither number matches what is on your old bumper, look at the photographs on this page and compare it visually rather than by number alone. If you are still unsure, use the quote route on this page and give the details from your old part so we can check it before you order.
How will a bumper this big actually get to me?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. Have someone ready to carry it indoors when it arrives. Before you unpack it fully, compare the fixings, brackets and mounting points to what came off the front of your own car, using the fitment table on this page to confirm you have the right cover. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
What is this bumper cover made of and does it matter for fitting?
This is a new plastic front bumper cover, made in China for the BYD Song PLUS EV, listed under OE number 20536716-00 and also known as SA3EDA-2803111/17. Being a moulded plastic cover, it comes as one complete piece rather than something you could patch or repair section by section. Before you order, take the model and model year exactly as printed on your registration document and match it against this listing so you order the correct cover for your car.
Where does this bumper cover fit on the car?
It fits the front of the car, on the outside, and the OE number 20536716-00 belongs to the Song PLUS EV. Check that number against your old part before ordering, since a small mismatch here means the wrong panel arrives. If you cannot see the number clearly, or your car has more than one variant in the fitment table for this model, use the quote route on this page and get the right match confirmed before you commit to buying.
