About This Part
Genuine BYD front tow hook cover cap, OE 13964284-00 (reference SA3EF-2803741). This moulded PC and ABS plastic cap snaps into the front bumper to hide the threaded towing eye socket, keeping the bumper face clean and flush and stopping dirt entering the mount. A moulded tether holds the cap to the bumper so it is not lost when the tow eye is in use.
Fits the BYD Song PLUS EV, including the Song PLUS EV Champion and Song PLUS EV Glory (2020 to 2025). A direct replacement for a lost, cracked or mismatched tow eye cover.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13964284-00
The number on my old cover does not match 13964284-00, what now?
Do not order yet. Take the cover off the car, or look at the tow hook area closely, and find the number stamped or moulded on the original part before you buy. If it does not match 13964284-00 or the SA3EF-2803741 reference, this is not your part, whatever the description looks like. Numbers matching is what confirms fitment here, not the model name. Check the fitment table on this page as well, and if you are still unsure, use the quote route on this page and give the number you found so it can be checked against this listing.
What is this tow hook cover made of and does that matter for fitting?
This is a black plastic cover, new, made by BYD. Plastic parts like this fit only the exact model and model year they are listed for, so before ordering check the model and model year shown on your registration document against this listing. If they match, fitting should be straightforward. If you are at all unsure, use the quote route on this page and someone will confirm it for you before you buy.
Will this need painting to match the car?
It is supplied in black plastic and nothing here says it comes pre finished to match your paintwork, so treat it as a fitting piece rather than a ready to bolt on colour match. Before ordering, look at the number stamped on the cover you are removing and set it against OE 13964284-00 or SA3EF-2803741. That confirms you have the right cover for your Song PLUS EV, and any finishing work can then be planned around the part once it arrives.
Where does this tow hook cover fit on the front bumper?
This cap fits into the tow hook aperture on the front bumper, on the panel itself rather than any inner bracket. If you are cross checking against another listing site, this part is also listed as SA3EF-2803741, so search that reference alongside the OE number 13964284-00 to confirm you have matched it to the same component before ordering. Check the number stamped or printed on the old cover first, since that is the surest way to know you are buying the right one for your car.
