About This Part
Front Wheel Air Dam (Left) for the Fangchengbao Bao 5 (2023-2026, including Smart Driving and Player) and BYD New e6 (2020-2026), fitting several BYD group models. This is the genuine OE deflector, part number 16723909-00 (supplier reference SFHC-2803114), a moulded black plastic air guide that mounts ahead of the front wheel to smooth airflow around the tyre and cut drag. The pre-drilled bolt holes locate it to the bumper and liner. Fit it with the right-side 16723910-00 when a wheel spoiler is cracked or missing.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 16723909-00
How do I know this is the left side and not the right?
This one is listed for the left side. Before you order, check the number stamped on the part you are taking off the car. If it reads 16723909-00, or the matching reference SFHC-2803114, you have the correct side and no guesswork is needed. Numbers stamped on the part itself are the only reliable way to confirm side, since left and right air dams are shaped differently and are not interchangeable across the car.
What if the number on my old part does not match 16723909-00?
Take the old part off the car and read the number stamped or moulded onto it before you order. This listing is for OE number 16723909-00. If the figures do not match, hold off and use the quote route on this page instead of ordering against a guess. Getting the number right first saves you sending anything back and forth, and it takes a minute longer than reading a title on a screen.
What is the left front wheel air dam made of, and does that affect fitting?
It is plastic, so handle it with a little care when you offer it up rather than forcing it into place. Before fitting, confirm this is the left side and the front position, since air dams differ side to side and front to rear. Check the fixings on your own car against the part in hand, as the mounting points need to line up cleanly. If anything looks unfamiliar, compare the OE number 16723909-00 against the number on your old part before going further.
