Frequently Asked Questions: OE 12742363-00
How can I confirm this radiator suits my car?
Do not go by the name of the car alone. This radiator fits several BYD models, and variants that look alike from outside do not always take the same part. The fitment table on this page is the check to make, using your model and model year as they appear on the V5C, then the variant. If the entry you need is not there, or yours sits between two of them, read the reference from the radiator that is in the car and send it to us through the quote route on this page rather than ordering on a guess.
The radiator in my car shows HCE-1301010. Is that this item?
Yes. This radiator carries the OE number 12742363-00 and also under the reference HCE-1301010, and both describe the same item. The one you can read on the unit already in the car may well be the second of those, which catches people out. Read the whole string before you decide it is wrong. If what you have matches neither, note it down with your BYD Han EV details and use the quote route on this page so we can check it for you before anything is ordered.
What is the delivery timing on this one?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. Plan the garage around the end of that window rather than the start of it. The packaging details are shown on this page. If the timing is tight for you, ask through the quote route on this page first. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
What is this radiator made of?
This radiator is made of metal, and it sits in the cooling system group on this page as a high temperature radiator. Keep the old high temperature radiator until the new one is fitted, in case the two need comparing. Before you order, check the number on your old high temperature radiator against OE 12742363-00.
Where is this fitted on the car?
It mounts in the engine bay. On a BYD Han EV that is the compartment under the bonnet, and the work is done from above rather than from underneath the car. Before ordering, look at what is fitted now and read the reference on it, then match that against the OE number 12742363-00 shown here. Confirm your own car against the fitment table on this page as well, because the position tells you where to look but not which variant of the part you need. Both checks are quick and they save a wasted trip.
Why is only one version offered?
One version only is listed here, the Original/Genuine radiator from BYD. There is no Aftermarket equivalent for 12742363-00, so this page shows a single option rather than two tiers. That reflects what is available for this reference and nothing more. If you would like us to look further for this one, use the quote route on this page and send the reference from the radiator currently in the car along with the model details, and we will check what can be sourced against it.
