Frequently Asked Questions: OE 15911563-00
Does this rear camera really fit just the one model?
Yes. The only model it fits is the Fangchengbao Tai 3. We do not stretch a part to cars it is not shown to fit. If yours is a related build, check the fitment table on this page before deciding. Where your car does not appear there, send a photograph of the old part and its label to EVParto through the quote route, and we will confirm it against the OE number.
The module I have shows a code that is not the OE number. Is that a problem?
It usually is not. Different production batches carry different markings, which is why two codes exist at all. Read the code off the module you removed and check it against the pair shown here. If it lines up with neither, do not order on the strength of the car being the right shape. Send the code and your vehicle details through the quote route on this page.
When would this rear camera reach me?
Delivery takes 8 to 25 days from your order to your door. Neither replaces the other, so keep both in view when you set a date with your fitter. It travels as a small parcel, and the packaging details are shown on this page. Keep the old camera in place until the new one arrives, and ask through the quote route if timing is critical.
What is the body of this camera made of?
Plastic is the material for this camera module. Keep it inside its packaging until the moment of fitting, since a plastic case scuffs easily and a scuffed housing on a rear panel is visible from behind the car. There is nothing to be gained from opening the housing before the fitter sees it.
Does this camera need finishing in my car's colour?
It is supplied in black, and no other finish is offered against this OE number. Since it mounts on the outside of the car it will be on show once fitted. Take a look at the module on your own vehicle first and see whether the visible face is black to match. If your trim around the camera is painted to the body, raise that through the quote route on this page before you place an order.
Which part of the car does this one go on?
It fits on the exterior at the rear of the car, which is what you would expect from a rear view module. It is not handed, so a single version serves the fitment and there is no left and right pair to sort out. Access normally means working at the tailgate or rear panel, so a fitter with the right trim tools will make lighter work of it. Confirm your model in the fitment table on this page first.
Why can I not pick between two versions of this camera?
Because only one is held. Our pages show an Original/Genuine tier next to an Aftermarket tier whenever both exist for the same OE number. Here the Original/Genuine version from Fangchengbao is the single listing, so what you see on this page is the whole choice. The camera is new. Should you want an alternative investigated against 15911563-00, put the request through the quote route on this page along with the vehicle it belongs to.
