Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13893734-00
How do I know this is the left one and not the right?
This listing is for the left side. Before you order, have the old part in front of you and confirm it came from the left side of the radiator upper cross member, not the right, since the two are not interchangeable. It fits BYD Song PLUS and carries OE number 13893734-00, also listed as SA3HK-5301261Q. If the numbers on your old plate match, you have the right one. If you are at all unsure which side you removed it from, check the fitment table on this page before placing your order.
How do I know this left connecting plate will fit my Song PLUS?
This listing carries OE number 13893734-00, so match that against the number on your old plate before ordering. If the numbers agree you can order with confidence, and if you are not certain what is stamped on the part in your engine bay, use the quote route on this page and give the details there so the fitment can be checked against your car before you commit to buying.
The number on my old plate does not match this one, what now?
Confirm the side first, this is listed as the left plate for the BYD Song PLUS. Check that the old part came from the left of the engine bay, not the right, since a left and right plate will carry different numbers even on the same car. Also compare the fixings, since a plate with different mounting points will not line up even if it looks similar. If the side and fixings do not match, this is not the correct plate for your car.
What is this plate made of?
This plate is made of black metal. If your parts list shows the reference SA3HK-5301261Q instead of the OE number 13893734-00, that is the same plate under a different reference, so check that number against the old part before ordering. Confirm which side you need, as this is listed for the left, and match it against the fitment table on this page to be sure it is correct for your BYD Song PLUS.
Does this need painting or finishing to match the car?
This part comes finished in black, and there is nothing to suggest it needs painting or finishing to match the car. It fits the BYD Song PLUS, so before you order, check the model and the model year exactly as they appear on your registration document. That confirms you are matching the right version of the car rather than assuming one Song PLUS is the same as another.
