About This Part
Right rear bumper mounting bracket for the BYD Qin PLUS, moulded in black plastic to carry and align the rear corner of the bumper cover. It carries OE reference 13040589-00 and BYD number HA2EN-2804420, and fits the Qin PLUS EV (2020-2026), Qin PLUS DM-i (2020-2025) and Qin PLUS DM-i Glory (2020-2022). The two locating bores and integral clips register the bumper skin against the body, so a snapped or fatigued rear bumper retainer is a straightforward renewal. This is the right/passenger-side bumper support bracket. The left-hand version is a separate part.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13040589-00
Which side is this bracket for and how do I check it fits my car?
This bracket fits the right rear corner of the car. Before ordering, check the position on your own car, along with the shape of the mounting point and the fixings that hold the old bracket in place. Comparing these details on your car against the bracket you are removing is the surest way to confirm you have the correct side, rather than guessing from the fitting alone.
What do I do if the number on my old bracket is different from this one?
The OE number for this bracket is 13040589-00. If the number on your old part is different, do not fit this bracket without checking further first. Look at the photographs on this page and compare the shape, the mounting holes and the overall size against the part you have removed from your car. Where the shape and fixing points line up closely with what is shown, that is the detail to rely on, rather than the number by itself.
How long will my right rear bumper bracket take to arrive?
Delivery takes 8 to 25 days from your order to your door. It is listed for the BYD Qin PLUS, so before ordering, match the model and the model year on your registration document against this listing. The bracket is new, made of metal, and carries OE number 13040589-00, so check that number against the old bracket while you have it out.
What is the rear bumper bracket made of?
This bracket is metal, so it holds its shape under normal fitting rather than distorting when the mounting bolts are tightened. If the OE number on this page does not match the number stamped on your old bracket, look for it under its alternative reference, HA2EN-2804420, since some listings and older parts catalogues show the part this way. Checking both numbers before ordering is the surest way to confirm you have the right bracket for your Qin PLUS.
Will this bracket need painting to match my car?
No painting or finishing is mentioned for this bracket. It is supplied new, finished in black, as listed on this page. Before you order, take a look at the old part in front of you and check its colour and condition against that description, since this is the detail given for this listing. That comparison is the simplest way to confirm this bracket is the right one to buy for your car.
Is there only one version of this bracket available?
Yes, only the original is listed for OE number 13040589-00, there is no other version shown here. If you would rather price an alternative, that can be found and priced on request rather than chosen directly from this page. Before you go that route, check the number stamped on the part you are taking off your car, since that number is what confirms an alternative would actually be the correct match for your vehicle.
