Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14001487-00
How do I know this is the right side for my car?
This is listed as the right hand side trim strip, fitted to the rear bumper. Look closely at the photographs on this page before you order, and compare the shape and the mounting points against the piece currently fitted to your car. Doing that check first means you are certain which side you are holding, rather than relying on the listing title alone.
What if the OE number on my old part is different?
If the OE number stamped on your old trim strip does not match 14001487-00, stop before fitting it. Check the model and the model year as shown on your registration document, and confirm those details against the fitment details for this part before you go further. Keep the old part to hand as well, because comparing the number on it against the one shown here is the surest way to know you are ordering the correct replacement for your car.
What is this trim strip made of?
It is a plastic trim strip made for the rear right side of the Sealion 07 EV. The OE number 14001487-00 is stamped on the original part to confirm you have the right one before ordering. Check that number against the old strip, then use the fitment table on this page to make sure it matches your exact model before you buy.
