About This Part
Rear Panel Heat Shield I for the BYD Seal 05 DM-i (2025-2026), Qin PLUS DM-i and Seal 05 DM-i Smart Driving, plus more BYD models. This pressed felt heat shield pad mounts against the rear body panel to block engine-bay and exhaust heat and to quieten the cabin, with cut-outs and locating holes that follow the panel contour. Order by OE 13231017-00 (alternate reference HA2HE-5310071). The thermal insulation panel is dry, light and trimmed to shape for a drop-in fit.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13231017-00
How do I know this heat shield will fit my Seal 05?
Yes, provided your car matches what is listed for this part. The photographs on this page show the shape and fixing points of the shield, so you can compare it against the panel you have removed before you order. If the foam layer in your hand does not match what you see, hold off and check further rather than guess. A few seconds spent comparing shapes now saves a return trip to the underbody later.
The number on my old shield does not match 13231017-00, what do I do?
Do not order on the strength of this listing alone. Look for the number stamped on the part you are taking off the car, since that is what confirms which version you actually need. This shield is also listed under HA2HE-5310071, so check whether either number appears on your old one before ruling it out. If neither number matches, it is worth confirming the part is right before it is fitted underneath the car.
Where on the car does this heat shield go?
This sits underneath, on the rear panel area, fitted to the underbody rather than inside the cabin. It is a foam insulation layer, so it works by sitting flat against the metal rather than being tucked behind trim. To be sure it lines up with your Seal 05, open the fitment table on this page and match it against the OE number 13231017-00 on your old part before ordering.
