A/C Refrigerant Line for BYD Sealion 06 EV, OE 14225557-00

If the number stamped on your old line reads differently, do not fit this part on the strength of the number alone. Take the model and the model year straight from your registration document and use those details when you order. This line carries OE number 14225557-00, also shown as UDEA-8108330, for the BYD Sealion 06 EV. Keep both numbers to hand if you need to ask before you buy, and order using the model and year rather than guessing from a part that no longer matches.

Allow 8 to 28 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. Once the parcel is with you, take a moment to inspect it for any damage before you sign the delivery note, since a mark on the box is far easier to raise at the door than once it has been put away. After that, set the new line next to the old one to check nothing looks different before you go any further with fitting. If in doubt, the quote route on this page can confirm it for you.

Metal is what this line is made from, not the flexible hose you might expect, so it holds a fixed shape and cannot be bent to work around anything in the way. That makes the fixings, the routing and the exact position far more important than with a hose. Check the side, the position and the fixings on your own car against what is shown here before ordering, since a rigid line will only sit correctly if every one of those points lines up exactly.

Fitted in the engine bay, this line forms part of the air conditioning circuit, rather than sitting somewhere visible in the cabin or under the car. If your paperwork or a parts list uses a different code, look out for UDEA-8108330, since this line is also known by that reference. Checking that alternative number against what your supplier quotes is a straightforward way to confirm you are looking at the same item, even if the numbering does not match at first glance.
