About This Part
Reversing camera assembly for the BYD Seagull, OE 12575311-00 (reference EL-3776100). This rear view camera clips into the tailgate trim and feeds the parking display when reverse is selected. It suits the Seagull and Seagull Glory (2023-2025) plus the e2 Glory (2019-2025). The wide-angle lens sits in a black plastic housing with a short pigtail harness and sealed connector, so the backup camera plugs straight into the factory loom. Fit a new parking camera when the image goes blank, foggy or distorted.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 12575311-00
My old camera is marked EL-3776100. Is it the same part?
Yes. EL-3776100 is an alternative reference for OE 12575311-00, so a camera marked that way is this item. The marking on a reversing camera is small and often sits on the body of the unit behind the mount, so take your time reading it. If what you find matches neither reference, send a close photograph of the old part and its label through the quote route on this page and we will check it against the fitment table before you order something that will not fit.
When would it arrive?
The delivery time is 8 to 25 days, from order to door. The camera is a small item, so the car stays usable while you wait and there is no reason to book workshop time early. If a date matters to you, for instance where a vehicle is being prepared for sale, ask through the quote route with OE 12575311-00 and we will confirm what the supplier is showing.
What is the camera housing made of?
Plastic is the material for this unit. Nothing further is held about the housing, so no claim is made here about sealing or about how it stands up to weather. What we can tell you is the mounting position, which is exterior, and the finish, which is black. If you need more detail than that before ordering, ask through the quote route on this page and quote OE 12575311-00, or send a photograph of the old part and its label.
Does it need painting to match my car?
The camera is black and it sits on the exterior of the vehicle, so it comes in that finish and not in a body colour. Nothing on this page says it can be painted or refinished, so treat it as a finished item as supplied. Hold it against the trim around your old camera before fitting to see how the black reads next to it. If the finish looks wrong for your car, tell us through the quote route on this page, quoting the OE number from your old camera or a photograph of the old part and its label.
Where does this camera mount?
On the exterior of the vehicle. That is the mounting position for OE 12575311-00. Check the fitment table on this page against your own model first, then compare the reference EL-3776100 with the marking on the camera you are removing. Keep the old reversing camera until the new one is fitted, in case the two need comparing.
Why is only one version of this camera sold?
Only the Original/Genuine tier is available for OE 12575311-00. It is a BYD camera and no Aftermarket alternative exists for it, so the page shows one option and not a choice of two. Where a second tier exists we put both on the page, which makes this a statement about what can be sourced today. If you would like us to look for an Aftermarket unit, use the quote route with the OE number from your old camera, or a photograph of the old part and its label, and we will report back on what is found.
