Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13235049-00
How do I know this is the right side for my car and not the left?
This listing is for the right side only. Before you order, check the fitment table on this page to confirm it matches your Dolphin, and compare the OE number on the page against 13235049-00 or the alternative reference EM2E-5402720-00BX on your old trim strip. Matching those numbers is the surest way to be certain you are ordering the correct side for your door.
What is the difference between the Original and Aftermarket versions?
Original or Genuine means the part carries the maker's own branding and finish, made to BYD's exact specification. Aftermarket is a compatible replacement built to fit and function the same way, without that branding. The difference is often visible in finish and detail rather than in fit, so take a look at the photographs on this page before deciding, particularly if the piano black finish needs to match panels either side of it closely.
What if the number on my old part is different?
Do not rule this part out on that alone. Look at which side the trim sits on, where it fits along the front door, and how it is fixed in place, since those three things confirm a match more reliably than the number alone. If all three line up with what you are holding, this is very likely the right trim for your car.
How does a part this size get delivered?
The packaging details for this strip are shown on this page, since the strip itself is a long thin moulding. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. If you want to be sure you are looking at the same strip, this part is also listed as EM2E-5402720-00BX, which is worth checking against. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
What is this door trim made of?
This trim is made of plastic, finished in piano black, so it is straightforward to check by hand before it goes anywhere near the car. Have your old trim in front of you when it arrives, and compare the shape, the finish and the fixing points directly against it before you fit anything. That direct comparison catches a mismatch far more reliably than reading a description on a screen ever will.
Does this need painting to match my car?
Only one finish is listed here, piano black, with no raw or paint-ready version shown. If you are not certain this shade will match the rest of your trim, do not guess. Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
