Frequently Asked Questions: OE 16947920-00
The number on my old trim is not 16947920-00, what now?
Do not fit it on the strength of a similar description alone. Take the OE number from the old trim piece and use the quote route on this page, so it can be checked against 16947920-00 before you order. This roof centre trim is listed only in black plastic for the Fangchengbao Bao 5, with no other version shown here. If your number differs, a quote check is the quickest way to confirm whether this is the correct piece before you commit to buying it.
How will this roof trim be delivered?
Packaging details for this roof trim are shown on this page. Before it goes out, have the old part off the car and in front of you, so you can check its shape and fixings match what turns up. It also helps to check the OE number stamped on the old trim against 16947920-00, since that confirms you are ordering the correct piece for your Bao 5 before you commit to the order.
What is this roof trim made of?
It is plastic, moulded in black, so there is no separate paint finish to worry about. Plastic trim can flex slightly during fitting, which helps it seat into place, but it still needs to sit correctly against the roof line. Check the side, the position and the fixings on your own car before ordering, since a piece that looks similar can still be shaped for a different spot.
Does this trim need painting to match the car?
No colour matching is listed for this piece, it is supplied in black plastic. Whether that suits your car depends on the finish around the roof on your own vehicle, which is not something this listing can confirm for you. Check the fitment table on this page before ordering, since it is the only version listed for this OE number and there is no alternative finish to choose from.
Where does this trim fit on the car?
This piece is the roof centre trim, fitted along the roof rather than the bumpers or doors. Before ordering, find the OE number stamped on the part currently on your roof and set it against 16947920-00 listed here. If the numbers do not match, hold off ordering. Once you have confirmed the match, the price shown on this page applies. Allow 8 to 28 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door.
