Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13608572-00
The number on my old part is not 13608572-00, will this one still fit?
If the number on the spoiler you are removing does not match 13608572-00, do not assume it is close enough and fit it anyway. This part is also listed under EQEA-5614110, so it is worth checking that reference too before deciding it is wrong. Rather than guess, use the quote route on this page and give both numbers so someone can check them against your car. That is quicker than fitting it and finding out afterwards that it does not sit right.
How is a spoiler this size delivered to me?
Delivery time is confirmed with your quote. The packaging details are shown on this page. Have a look at the photographs on this page to see the shape and size of the part itself before it arrives, so you can picture how it will be boxed for the courier. The shipping cost is confirmed with your quote.
What is this spoiler made from?
It is moulded from plastic and finished in black, ready to fit straight from the box with no painting needed if black suits your car. This is the only version listed for the Seagull, so there is no choice of finish or shade to make here. Before ordering, check the fitment table on this page against the model and model year shown on your registration document to confirm this is the correct spoiler for your build.
Will this rear spoiler need painting to match my BYD Seagull?
This spoiler is listed in black, so check that against the colour of your car before ordering, since a plastic body panel like this is not supplied primed or ready sprayed. Before you order, look up the model and the model year exactly as shown on your registration document, and compare that against the fitment table on this page. That confirms you are buying the correct version for your car rather than a similar looking one.
Where does this spoiler fit and how do I know it is the right one for my Seagull?
It fits at the rear of the car as the spoiler assembly, moulded in black plastic. If you are matching it against a part already fitted or listed under a different code, check it against EQEA-5614110, since that is the other reference this same part is listed under. Use that number alongside the OE number 13608572-00 to confirm you have the right item before you order, particularly if your paperwork or an old label only shows one of the two.
