A/C Condenser for BYD Sealion 06 EV, OE 17683679-00

The safest check is to have the old condenser out and in front of you before you order. Look for the OE number 17683679-00 stamped or printed on the unit itself, and compare it against what is shown here. A number match on the physical part is worth more than a match on the car name alone. If you cannot find a number, check the fitment table on this page against your registration document before you commit to buying.

Check the side of the engine bay it sits on, how it lines up with the position of the other unit next to it, and how it is fixed with brackets or bolts. If your old condenser matches on those points it is doing the same job even under a different number. If it does not match, do not fit it. This one lists as OE 17683679-00, also listed as EWEDT-8105010Z, so check both before ruling it out.

It is metal, matching the fitment table on this page for the BYD Sealion 06 EV. If the old unit is leaking or crushed from an accident, that is worth mentioning when you get a quote, since a damaged condenser cannot always be assessed from the OE number alone. Have the number 17683679-00 from the old part to hand, then use the quote route on this page to confirm the fit and get a price before you order.

This is listed for the BYD Sealion 06 EV under OE number 17683679-00, also shown as EWEDT-8105010Z. Before you order, check the model and model year on your registration document against the fitment table on this page, since a condenser built for one year can differ from another even under the same model name. It comes as a new unit made of metal. Confirming the year first is the surest way to avoid ordering the wrong part for your car.
