Frequently Asked Questions: OE 16348049-00
My valve has a code that is not 16348049-00. Does that rule this out?
That is not unusual. This valve also carries the alternative reference SA6HD-8106200 alongside OE number 16348049-00, and a unit already fitted to the car may carry either. Small components like this are often marked on a printed label rather than stamped into the body, so read it in good light and note every character. Compare what you find with both references shown on this page. If the code you have matches neither, put it through the quote route rather than ordering on a guess.
What is the timescale on this valve?
Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. Use the fitment table on this page to confirm your model and year before ordering, because the listing spans more than one model and those entries are not interchangeable. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 16348049-00.
What is this valve made of?
Metal is the material used for this valve, which gives a small, dense component. Metal parts mark and dent if they are dropped on a hard floor, so keep it in its packing until the moment it is wanted at the car. Beyond the material, this answer does not cover the fittings on this valve, so compare the photographs on this page with what is on your own vehicle.
Where is this valve located on the car?
This valve sits in the engine bay of the Fangchengbao Bao 8, so it is reached from above with the bonnet up rather than from under the floor. We give the location only. No fitting sequence or service detail is published with the listing, and none should be read into it. If the old valve is out and in your hand, compare the OE number 16348049-00 on this page with what is marked on it, then check the year against the fitment table before ordering.
Why is only one version of this valve available?
Only one version exists for OE number 16348049-00, the genuine Fangchengbao valve. No aftermarket equivalent has been sourced, so the page carries a single option and there is no tier comparison to make. On parts we offer in both, an Original/Genuine listing and an Aftermarket listing appear together, and both tiers are priced on the page. Here the only question left is fitment, so read the table on this page against your own model and year, and use the quote route if your car is missing from it.
