Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13964220-00
Is this the left side air curtain trim for my BYD Song PLUS?
Yes, this listing is the left side panel, but do not rely on the word alone. Open the fitment table on this page and match the model and model year shown on your registration document against it before ordering. Left and right trims can look close to identical in a photo and the wrong one will not sit against the bumper aperture correctly. Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door.
What is the difference between Original and Aftermarket for this trim panel?
The tiers differ only in who made the part, not in whether it fits. Before choosing, check that the side, the position on the bumper and the fixing points match what is currently on your BYD Song PLUS. The old panel in front of you is the clearest guide, since it carries the same side and position as the one you are ordering. If anything looks different once the new part arrives, compare it directly against the one you removed before fitting.
What if the number on my old part doesnt match 13964220-00?
Do not fit it on the strength of the description alone if the numbers disagree. Look at the photographs on this page and compare the shape, the mounting points and the overall profile against the panel you have removed. A curtain trim that reads close on paper can still differ in the cut of an edge or the position of a clip, and that is usually where a mismatch shows up first, not in the number itself.
What is this air curtain trim made of?
This panel is made of plastic. It is listed under OE number 13964220-00 for the BYD Song PLUS, so before you order, check the model and the model year shown on your vehicle registration document against that listing. That is the detail that confirms fitment, since the panel is matched to that specific listing. Once you have checked your registration document and it matches, you can place your order for this left hand front panel.
