Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14013138-00
You have selected Aftermarket, the aftermarket alternative to this part. Where an answer below names BYD as the maker or calls the part Original/Genuine, it describes the Original/Genuine version, not this one.
Which side of the bumper is this trim strip for, and how do I check?
This one is listed as the right hand piece, fitted to the front of the car. Left and right trim strips can look close to identical once you are looking at them off the car, especially on a small screen. Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. The shipping cost for your country is shown at checkout before you pay.
What is the difference between Original and Aftermarket for this part?
The genuine maker for this trim is BYD, but that on its own does not tell you which quality tier a given listing is offering. Original or Genuine stock comes through that same supply chain, while Aftermarket is a separately made equivalent built to the same fitment. Finish, texture and small details can vary between the two in ways that are hard to put into words, so look closely at the photographs on this page before you choose, since they show the actual piece on offer.
What if the number on my old trim is not 14013138-00?
If the marking on your old trim does not read 14013138-00, do not fit this one on the assumption it will be close enough. This part is also listed under SA3HKU-2803118, so check the old piece for that number too before ruling it out. Read the number straight off the part itself rather than from memory or a description, and have the old part in front of you before you order, so you can compare it against both numbers given here.
What material is this bumper trim made from?
This is a plastic trim piece made to fit the right side of the front bumper on the BYD Song PLUS. It carries the OE number 14013138-00. Before ordering, check the fitment table on this page to confirm it matches your model and the side you need.
