Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13856336-00
How do I know this bracket is right and left, not left and right?
This one is listed for the right side. Handedness on a bumper bracket is easy to get backwards, so before you order, take the old bracket off the car and hold it next to this listing or its OE number, 13856336-00. If the fixing position and orientation do not match what you are holding, it is the wrong side and will not go on.
How do I know this bracket will fit my BYD Song PLUS?
This bracket carries OE number 13856336-00, also shown as SA3HK-2804410, for the right front position on the rear bumper. Have your old part to hand and take a look at the photographs on this page, checking the shape and the mounting points against what you are holding. It is a plastic bracket in black, made in China to fit this position only. If the shape and mounting points match what you see, you have the right one.
The number on my old part does not match, what do I do?
A different number on your old bracket does not automatically mean this is the wrong part. Before deciding, check the side, the position and the fixings on your own car against what is listed here, right side, rear. Look at where the bracket sits, which way it faces and how it bolts on, since that tells you more than a number alone. If those three points match, order with confidence. If any of them differ, hold off and look again before you buy.
What is this bracket made of?
It is a black plastic bracket. If a search under this OE number does not bring up the part you need, try the reference SA3HK-2804410, which lists the same bracket. That gives you a second way to confirm you are looking at the right one before you order. Keep the old bracket to hand while you check, as matching it against either number is the surest way to avoid ordering the wrong side.
Will this bracket need painting to match my car?
Supplied in black plastic, this bracket needs no extra painting or finishing before fitting. It is a new part under OE number 13856336-00, made for the BYD Song PLUS. If you are unsure whether anything more is required for your own car, or you want it checked alongside other parts you are ordering, use the quote route on this page and get it confirmed before you commit.
