Rear Bumper Air Curtain Trim (Left) for BYD Song PLUS EV, OE 14103240-00

This one is listed for the left side, fitted to the rear bumper. To check which side yours is, stand at the back of the car facing forward, the left side is on your left as you look at the rear. Look at where the panel sits and how it is fixed in place on your own bumper, since left and right versions are not interchangeable. Comparing the position and the fixings on your car against this listing before you order will confirm you have picked the correct side.

Have a look at the photographs on this page against the panel you are holding. This is the left rear air curtain trim, OE 14103240-00, also listed as SA3HK-2804115, made for the BYD Song PLUS EV. It is black plastic and comes new. Check the shape, the mounting points and the curve of the piece in the images match what is on your car before you buy. If the old part carries the OE number, that is the surest check of all.

Original/Genuine is made by BYD and matches the car exactly. Aftermarket is a compatible replacement built to fit the same OE number, 14103240-00, but not produced by BYD itself. If you are not sure which one your car needs, hold the old panel in front of you before you order and use it to judge fit and finish against the listing photos and details on this page. That comparison is more reliable than guessing from memory, especially on trim pieces where small shape differences are easy to miss.

Do not fit anything until you have confirmed the model and model year exactly as printed on your registration document. Bumper trim pieces are tied closely to specific builds, so those two details are what decide the correct part. Use them against the fitment table on this page before you order, rather than matching by eye or by the old reference alone. If the table still leaves you unsure which line applies to your car, use the quote route on this page and someone will confirm it for you.

It is plastic, moulded to match the rear bumper on the left side. Before you order, check the OE number stamped on the part you are removing against 14103240-00, since bumper trims differ by side and by model year and a visual match is not enough to be sure. If the numbers agree, this is the correct piece to fit. If you cannot find a number on the old part, use the fitment table on this page to confirm before you commit to the order.

No painting or extra finishing is needed here, since this panel is listed in black and is ready to fit as it comes. If you are cross checking against other sources, this part also appears under the reference SA3HK-2804115, and either number will confirm you have found the same panel. Simply fit it in place on the left side of the rear bumper once it arrives, there is nothing else to prepare beforehand.
