Frequently Asked Questions: OE 19228009-00
How do I know this is the right side and not the left?
This one is listed for the right side, rear. Before ordering, take off the panel currently fitted and check its shape and mounting points against this listing, since left and right trims are mirror images and easy to mix up when ordering from memory. If you are at all unsure which side you need, compare the old part directly rather than guessing from the car's layout, then match it to this page before you commit to the order.
The number on my old trim does not match 19228009-00, what now?
If the figure stamped or printed on the part you are removing is not 19228009-00, do not fit this one on the strength of the description alone. Use the quote route on this page and give the number you have found, along with a photograph of the old part and its label, so it can be checked against the OE number before you order. Fitting a mismatched trim panel can mean gaps, poor alignment against the bumper, or a second order to source the correct side. A few minutes spent confirming the fit now saves a wasted delivery later.
What is this trim panel made of?
This is a plastic panel finished in Star Ore Grey to match the bumper. If you are checking against a parts list that uses a different reference, this same panel is also listed under UGE-2804133Z/77-00HF5, so look for that code as well as the OE number 19228009-00 before you order. Matching either reference confirms you have the right side and the right panel for your Sealion 06.
Will this need painting or finishing to match my car?
No painting is needed. This trim is listed in Star Ore Grey, so it arrives in that finish rather than as a plain panel for you to colour yourself. What matters most before you order is whether that grey is the right one for your Sealion 06, since colours can vary between trims and model years. Open the fitment table on this page and check it against your own car before you commit, so the panel you receive is the one that actually belongs on it.
