Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13769252-00
How do I know this will actually fit my car?
The surest way is to match numbers rather than trust the model name. Look at your own faulty control unit for its stamped OE number and compare it against 13769252-00, also listed as SA3HK-3658100A. If either number matches what is stamped on your old part, this is the right unit for your car. If no number is visible, note down everything else printed on the casing before you remove it, so you have something to check it against.
What if the number on my old part is different from this one?
Do not fit this on the strength of the model name alone. Check the fitment table on this page against the number stamped on your old control unit, since a listing can apply to more than one build. If the number on your old part does not match 13769252-00 or SA3HK-3658100A, hold off ordering until the fitment table confirms a match for your car, rather than assuming the two are close enough.
Can I fit this control unit myself or does it need a garage?
Before ordering, look at the side, the position and the fixings on your own car, since that tells you exactly how the unit sits and what holds it in place. This is the control unit only, listed under OE number 13769252-00, also shown as SA3HK-3658100A. It is new, made of plastic. Check the fitting position against the old part before you start, so you know what you are dealing with before removing anything.
When will my airbag control unit arrive?
Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. When the parcel arrives, check the box for any damage before you sign for it. Once it is opened, compare the new unit against the old one you removed to make sure you have the right item in hand. If you have any doubts about the fit, use the quote route on this page before you go any further.
Where on the car does the SRS control unit sit?
Inside the car is where this control unit belongs, as part of the interior fitment rather than anything mounted externally. Exact placement is not something we list here, so check the model and the model year as written on your registration document before ordering, since this listing is built around the BYD Song PLUS EV specifically. Matching those details to your car is what tells you this is the right part, not the general model name on its own.
