Frequently Asked Questions: OE 13863540-00
How do I know this air cleaner assembly is right for my Song Pro DM-i?
Match it by the number on the housing of the assembly you are removing, T472-1109020A or 13863540-00, before you order. Paper element units like this are moulded to the engine bay and cannot be swapped for a similar-looking box from another trim or engine. Check the fitment table on this page against what you read off the old part, then order once the two agree. If the numbers do not match, do not fit it on the assumption it looks the same.
The number on my old filter housing is not 13863540-00, what now?
Check the fitment table on this page rather than matching numbers by eye. It lists the vehicles this housing is confirmed to fit, and that table is the reliable way to tell whether it is right for your Song Pro DM-i. This assembly is also listed as T472-1109020A, so a different reference on your old part may simply be that alternate listing rather than a mismatch. If your build still does not appear in the table, do not fit the part.
Where does this air filter assembly fit on the car?
This filter assembly sits in the engine bay. Before you order, check the OE number on the housing you are removing against 13863540-00, or against the alternative reference T472-1109020A, since both are used for the same part. The precise side, position and fixings vary by model, so use the fitment table on this page to be certain it matches your own car before you buy.
