Side door latch striker assembly for the BYD Yuan UP, OE 11690296-00 and reference MEH-5405110. This cast steel striker bolts to the door pillar through two countersunk holes and gives the door latch a hardened loop to grab, holding the door shut and taking the slam load on every close. The oval catch loop and dished mounting plate let the latch self-centre for a rattle-free fit. Fitment covers the Yuan UP, Qin PLUS EV, Qin PLUS DM-i and Qin Pro DM from 2018 to 2026. A worn door striker causes a loose or noisy door, so renew it if the catch shows play.
