Smart Key Fob for BYD Yuan UP, OE 14979538-00

This one arrives with a battery already installed inside it, which places it in a restricted battery product class for transport. The carriers on our lanes apply their own rules to goods of that type, so it cannot be put in a basket and sent out like an ordinary parcel. Use the quote route on this page instead. Give us the OE number 14979538-00 and your delivery address, and we will come back to you with the method that is permitted to your country and what it involves at your end.

This key fits a wide spread of models, so the marque and the model name on their own will not settle it. Work from the fitment table on this page, find the entry that matches your car, then read the number off the fob you already have and compare it with OE 14979538-00. Model year and specification both change which fob was fitted, so an entry that looks close is not the same as an entry that matches. If your car does not appear in the fitment table, ask us through the quote route before you go any further.

Both numbers belong to this item. It is catalogued under OE 14979538-00 and also carries the reference PAH-3791200B-L1, so a number that does not match the title is not by itself evidence that you are looking at the wrong key. Open the case or check any label on your existing fob, note down every number printed on it, and compare what you have against both of ours. If it matches neither, send the numbers to us through the quote route and we will tell you what you are holding.

The body is plastic. Plastic marks and cracks rather than dents, so it is worth looking hard at the state of your existing case before you decide whether the problem lies with the shell or with what is behind it. Compare what you see on your own case with this description before you decide what to order.

This is an interior item rather than anything mounted to the outside of the body, which is what you would expect of a key that travels with the driver. It has no left or right version either, so there is nothing to pick between and nothing to check underneath the car. What decides the purchase is the model entry and the OE number, so use the fitment table on this page to confirm your car appears, then work from OE 14979538-00 when you contact us.

Only the Original/Genuine version is listed, made by BYD, because no Aftermarket equivalent has been sourced against this reference. That reflects what is available to us and not a view on the item itself. The price shown on this page is therefore for the Original/Genuine key and there is no second tier to weigh against it. If you would like us to look for an alternative reference, send us the number from your own fob through the quote route and we will tell you honestly what exists.

Delivery to Hong Kong SAR takes 15 to 25 days from your order to your door, depending on the option you choose at checkout. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay, and you can follow the parcel with tracking all the way.
