About This Part
Cylinder head cover acoustic pack for the BYD Song Pro DM-i and Yuan UP, OE 14458977-00 with reference SA2HG-1000111A. The moulded foam cover fits over the cam cover to damp engine noise, shaped with locating holes and stand-offs that clear the surrounding hardware. It fits the Song Pro DM-i 2021-2026, Yuan UP 2023-2025 and Song Pro DM-i Glory 2023-2025, and more. This acoustic insulation, a sound-deadening engine cover, quietens the top end and shields it from heat and debris.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 14458977-00
How do I know this acoustic pack will fit my Song Pro DM-i?
Match the OE number 14458977-00 on your old cover before you order, since that is what confirms the shape and fitting points are the same as your car. Have a look at the photographs on this page and compare the ribbing, the edge profile and the mounting points against the part you are holding. If your old cover carries a different number, or the shape in the photographs does not match what is bolted to your engine, this is not the correct pack for your car.
The number on my old cover does not match 14458977-00, what now?
Stop and check before fitting anything. Look at the model and the model year exactly as written on your registration document, since that is what confirms whether your car matches the fitment table on this page. This listing covers the BYD Song Pro DM-i, so the model year is the detail that decides the outcome. Once you have that from your document, compare it against the fitment table here rather than against the number on the old part alone.
Will this need painting or finishing to match the engine bay?
No painting is needed. It is a black foam acoustic cover, so it is fitted as supplied and does not need matching to any surrounding trim or paintwork. What matters more is confirming it is the right shape for your engine bay before you order, since a cover like this only fits the layout it was made for. Check the fitment table on this page against your BYD Song Pro DM-i to be sure it lines up before you buy.
Where does the acoustic pack fit on the cylinder head cover?
It fits over the cylinder head cover in the engine bay, on the section listed under OE number 14458977-00. Before ordering, check the number stamped or printed on your old cover so you match the correct side and position, since covers can differ across the range. Once confirmed, use the fitment table on this page to check it against your specific model and build date before you buy, so the fixings and shape line up first time.
