Bonnet Hinge (Left) for BYD Han EV & Han DM-i, OE 12636510-00

Left. This hinge fits the left hand side at the front of the car, mounted in the engine bay. Left and right are read from the driver's seat looking forward, not from standing in front of the car, and getting that the wrong way round is an easy mistake to make. Open the bonnet and decide which hinge you are actually replacing before you commit. If both are going, you will need the opposite reference too. Check OE 12636510-00 against the fitment table on this page.

This reference covers a wide spread of vehicles, which is useful but does not remove the checking. Work from the fitment table on this page and match your car by year and variant rather than by the Han EV or Han DM-i name alone. The table is the thing that decides fitment here, and the badge on the boot lid is not. Read it against your own car rather than a similar one you have seen. If your vehicle is not clearly in the table, send a photograph of the old hinge and its label through the quote route and we will match it against the OE number.

If the number is HC-8402610, yes. Read whatever is marked on the hinge already fitted to the car before you order, since that reading is worth more than a description. If what you find is neither of the two numbers on this page, stop there rather than ordering in hope. Send the reading and your Han details through the quote route on this page and we will check the fitment table for you.

Delivery takes 8 to 25 days from your order to your door. Bodyshop bookings are usually made well in advance, so order the part before the car goes in rather than after it is already there. If the timing is a problem, put your dates to us through the quote route on this page first. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay.

The material for this hinge is metal. It does not name an alloy or a coating, so we will not put one in writing. If your bodyshop needs more than the material name, ask through the quote route on this page. Checking the OE number against the old hinge is the way to confirm you have the right one.

Because only one has been sourced for it. BYD is the genuine manufacturer of OE 12636510-00, and there is no Aftermarket line listed, so the Original/Genuine tier is the whole of what is on this page. Where both tiers exist for a part, both are shown and priced on the page and the choice is yours to make. That situation does not apply here. If an alternative source would help your job, ask us to look through the quote route on this page and tell us which Han it is for.
