Front Left Wheel Speed Sensor for BYD Seal 05 & Qin PLUS, OE 12165288-00

This is the front left sensor with its harness. Left is read from the driver's seat looking forward, so on a right-hand drive car it is the near side front wheel. The left and right versions are separate listings under separate OE numbers and they are not interchangeable, so the corner has to be settled before you order. If a diagnostic readout has already named the wheel for you, take that as your answer. If it has not, identify the corner first and come back to the listing that matches it.

The sensor or its connector may be marked HAD-3630100B rather than the OE number 12165288-00 shown here. Both references describe this front left sensor and harness. A sensor that has been replaced before can carry a supplier marking that matches neither, and a reading taken from a corroded head is easy to get wrong. If you are not certain, do not order on the number alone. Send a photograph of the old part and its label, along with any fault code you have, through the quote route, and we will confirm the corner and the reference against the OE number.

This part is safety critical because the sensor feeds the braking system on the car. Fitting is not a job to improvise. Have it done by someone with the equipment to clear stored faults and to confirm the system is reading the wheel properly afterwards, since a sensor that is mechanically in place can still be reporting nothing at all.
