Rear Trailing Arm (Right) for BYD Seal 06 DM-i, OE 13148853-00

This listing is for the right side. Rather than relying on left and right alone, check the number stamped on the trailing arm you are removing and match it against 13148853-00, since suspension arms are often mirrored and easy to mix up when working underneath the car. Confirming the stamped number first is a more certain check than working out the side from memory.

Have the old arm in front of you before you order, and compare its shape, the bush positions and the mounting points against what you can see of this listing. A rear trailing arm carries real load, so a close physical comparison with the part you are removing is worth doing properly rather than ordering on the model name alone.

Original/Genuine is supplied by BYD, the maker of your car. Aftermarket is made by a different manufacturer to fit the same position. Neither the price shown on this page nor the OE number changes which one is right for your car, only the side, the position and the fixings do. Check the old part is a right hand trailing arm fitted at the rear, and match its fixing points and its OE number, 13148853-00, against the old part before you order.

Not automatically. The OE number is only a starting point, and a mismatch means you should not assume the part fits. Check the fitment table on this page against your vehicle details before ordering, since that table is the reliable way to confirm the right trailing arm for your BYD Seal 06 DM-i. If your old part carries a different reference entirely, it may belong to a different variant or build, so matching it against the table now saves a wrong order and a delay later.

A rear trailing arm is a structural suspension component, so look closely at the photographs on this page first to understand what the job involves, including the bush mountings and how the arm connects to the subframe. Seeing the full arm and its fixing points in the photographs will give you a realistic sense of the work before you decide who should carry it out.

It is a metal arm, built to carry suspension loads rather than simply hold trim in place. If you want to check this is exactly the right specification before ordering, this part is also listed under the reference SC2E-2914200, and cross checking that alongside the BYD number can help confirm you have identified the correct metal arm for your car.
