Front Brake Caliper (Right) for BYD Dolphin & Seal 05, OE 13155505-00

This is listed as the right front caliper. Before you order, find the number stamped on the caliper body you are removing and check it against 13155505-00. Calipers are handed, so a left and right can look similar but will not swap over, and the mounting points will not line up if you take the wrong one off the car. If the stamped number does not match, note it down rather than guess from memory. That single check saves a wrong order.

Fitment on a caliper depends on the exact model and model year, not just the make. Rather than assume, open the fitment table on this page and check your vehicle against the entries listed there before you order. This part is listed for BYD Dolphin and Seal 05 under OE number 13155505-00, and matching against the table is the way to confirm it applies to your specific car rather than the range in general.

If the number on the old caliper does not read 13155505-00, do not fit this one on the assumption it is close enough. Use the quote route on this page and give the number you have found, along with your model and model year. That way the fitment can be checked properly rather than guessed. A caliper that looks right but carries a different number can still have different mounting points, so confirm through that route before ordering.

Whether you fit this yourself is your call, as nothing in this listing sets that out. What you do need before deciding is certainty over the part itself, so check the model and the model year exactly as printed on your registration document. This caliper fits BYD Dolphin and Seal 05, and matching your document against those names confirms which one applies to your car. Getting that right on paper first means the job, whoever does it, only needs doing once.

It is a metal caliper body, new, not a reconditioned unit. Before you order, match the side and position against your own car, since this listing is for the right front. Also check what holds the old caliper on, as the fixings need to line up with what you are removing. If you are not certain which side you need, look at the fitment table on this page or check the number stamped on the old part before you commit to an order.
