BYD Seal 06 EV Parts

The BYD Seal 06 EV is a four-door electric saloon on the e-Platform 3.0 Evo, sold in three trims with a single rear motor and rear-wheel drive throughout. The trim decides more than the badge does: two trims share the same 545 km CLTC figure but sit on different wheel sizes, and the flagship alone carries variable damping. Order the disc, hub carrier, bearing and damper against the tyre size and trim, not the range number.

Symptom Finder: Known Weak Points

What you see or hearCheck first
Unsettled ride or a damping warning on a top-trim car The DiSus-C dampers. First confirm the car has DiSus-C, since lower trims use conventional dampers, then match the damper by OE number.
Driver-assistance warning after a windscreen change or a minor knock The cameras behind the windscreen, and the radar and sensors in the bumpers with their brackets. A bent bracket can trigger a warning on its own, so check it before ordering a sensor.
DC charging slower than expected, or a charging fault The charging socket and its pins first. The 2027 model moved to an 800V platform with flash charging, so check the build date before ordering any charging part.
Weak cabin heating or reduced range in cold weather The heat pump circuit, its coolant valves and lines. Trace the fault to the circuit before ordering, then match the part by OE number.
Coolant warning or a falling coolant level Coolant valves, lines and the expansion tank. The battery, motor and cabin circuits share plumbing, so find the leak before ordering.
Knock from the front suspension over bumps The ball joints and bushings on the dual ball-joint MacPherson front. Find the worn joint, then order the arm for the correct side.
Brake squeal, judder or uneven pedal feel Pads and discs. Regenerative braking means the discs are used lightly and can corrode, so inspect them before ordering, and match pads and discs by OE number.

About BYD Seal 06 EV Parts

The BYD Seal 06 EV is a mid-size electric saloon. It launched in China on 7 June 2025 and was updated for the 2027 model year in August 2026. Every version drives the rear wheels through a single motor at the back, with a Blade lithium iron phosphate battery under the floor and no engine. That means no oil, filters or exhaust sensors. The parts that matter are the suspension, the brakes, the cooling circuits for the battery, motor and heat pump, and the low-voltage electrics that run the driver-assistance cameras and radar. The car is the sister of the Qin L EV and shares its 2,820 mm wheelbase, but the two have different bodywork. The 2027 update changed the battery, the motor, the body length and the charging hardware, so the build date matters. Every part on this page is listed by its OE number, and that number is the surest way to confirm a part fits.

What to know before buying BYD Seal 06 EV parts

Start by confirming which car you have. Three BYD models carry the Seal 06 name. The Seal 06 EV covered here is the all-electric saloon. The Seal 06 DM-i is a plug-in hybrid saloon on a 2,790 mm wheelbase, 30 mm shorter than the EV's 2,820 mm, and it carries a petrol engine the EV does not have. The Seal 06 GT is a hatchback. Body panels, bumpers and trim do not cross between the three, so treat each one as its own car when ordering.

The closest relative is the Qin L EV, sold through BYD's Dynasty dealers. It shares the platform, the wheelbase, the battery sizes and the motor outputs with the Seal 06 EV, so some hidden mechanical parts may carry the same OE number. The styling and cabin trim are different, so do not order bumpers, lights, grilles or interior panels from Qin L EV listings. At launch the top Seal 06 EV trim also had DiSus-C damping, which reports said the Qin L EV did not offer, so dampers are another point where the two cars differ. Compare OE numbers before ordering a part listed for the other car.

Next, work out which version of the Seal 06 EV you have. Cars from the June 2025 launch are 4,720 mm long and 1,880 mm wide. They have either a 46.08 kWh pack with a 110 kW motor or a 56.64 kWh pack with a 160 kW motor. The 2027 model, launched on 11 August 2026, is 4,870 mm long and 1,890 mm wide on the same wheelbase. It has second-generation Blade packs of 52.868 kWh and 64.315 kWh, motors of 120 kW or 240 kW, an 800V platform and flash charging. Treat bumpers, lights, the battery, the motor and charging parts as specific to one side of that change. Read the build date on the identification plate before ordering any of them.

Some parts also vary by trim within each version. DiSus-C variable damping was fitted to the top launch trim and is offered on higher-end 2027 cars, while other cars use conventional dampers, so check what is fitted before ordering a damper. The launch car was offered on 225/55 R17 and 225/50 R18 tyres, so read the size on the sidewall before ordering tyres or wheels. Some 2027 cars carry a lidar unit on the roof, which brings its own sensor and roof parts. The driver-assistance system uses cameras behind the windscreen, so a replacement screen must suit the camera mounting. For painted panels, order by the colour code on the car rather than by colour name.

Before You Order: 7 Checks

  1. Check the badge and body style first. The Seal 06 DM-i hybrid and the Seal 06 GT hatchback share the name but not the body, so confirm the car is the electric saloon before ordering.
  2. Match the OE number on the part you are replacing to the OE number on the listing. A matching number is the surest check that a part fits.
  3. Read the build date on the identification plate before ordering a bumper, light, battery, motor or charging part, since the 2027 model launched in August 2026 changed all of them.
  4. Measure the overall length if you are unsure which version you have. About 4,720 mm is the launch car and 4,870 mm is the 2027 model.
  5. Check whether the car has DiSus-C variable damping before ordering a damper, then order the matching type.
  6. Read the tyre size on the sidewall before ordering tyres or wheels, since both 225/55 R17 and 225/50 R18 were offered at launch.
  7. Order painted panels by the colour code on the car rather than by colour name.

Generations and Facelifts

The Seal 06 name first appeared on the Seal 06 DM-i, a plug-in hybrid saloon, and the Seal 06 GT hatchback followed in October 2024. The Seal 06 EV came next. It was first shown at Auto Shanghai in April 2025 and launched on 7 June 2025 at the Chongqing Auto Show as the Ocean-network sister of the Qin L EV. It sits on e-Platform 3.0 Evo with a 2,820 mm wheelbase, dual ball-joint MacPherson front suspension and five-link rear suspension. There were three trims. The 470 km car had a 46.08 kWh pack and a 110 kW motor, and two 545 km cars had a 56.64 kWh pack and a 160 kW motor. Only the top trim had DiSus-C damping.

In March and April 2026, second-generation Blade batteries and flash charging reached the Sealion 06 EV, the Seal 07 EV, the Seal 06 GT and the Seal 06 DM-i wagon. The Seal 06 EV was not part of those updates.

Its own update came with the 2027 model, launched on 11 August 2026. This was a facelift with large mechanical changes. The body grew to 4,870 mm long and 1,890 mm wide on the same 2,820 mm wheelbase, with new headlights and front styling. The battery moved to second-generation Blade packs of 52.868 kWh and 64.315 kWh, and the motor options moved to 120 kW and 240 kW. The car also gained an 800V platform with flash charging. Higher-end versions can have DiSus-C damping and a roof-mounted lidar with God's Eye B driver assistance.

For parts, the August 2026 change splits the car in two. Do not assume that bumpers, lights, batteries, motors, charging parts or driver-assistance sensors interchange across it. Read the build date on the identification plate, then match each part by its OE number.

BYD Seal 06 EV Parts: Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make sure a part fits my BYD Seal 06 EV?

Match the OE number. Every part on this site is listed under the OE number printed on the original part, and if the number on the part you are replacing matches the listing, the part fits. This check matters on the Seal 06 EV because three BYD cars share the Seal 06 name, a close sister car is sold as the Qin L EV, and the 2027 model changed much of the car in August 2026. If the old part is missing or its number cannot be read, send the details through the quote form and we will reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.

How can I tell the Seal 06 EV from the Seal 06 DM-i and the Seal 06 GT?

Look at the body and what powers it. The Seal 06 EV is an all-electric saloon with a 2,820 mm wheelbase and no engine. The Seal 06 DM-i is a plug-in hybrid saloon on a 2,790 mm wheelbase with a petrol engine under the bonnet, and the launch Seal 06 EV was 110 mm shorter and 5 mm wider than it. The Seal 06 GT is a hatchback. Body panels, bumpers and trim do not cross between the three, so settle which car you have first, then confirm each part by its OE number.

Do Qin L EV parts fit the Seal 06 EV?

Some may. The Qin L EV is the Seal 06 EV's sister car, sold through BYD's Dynasty dealers, and it shares the platform, the 2,820 mm wheelbase, the battery sizes and the motor outputs. That means some hidden mechanical parts may carry the same OE number. The styling and cabin trim are different, so bumpers, lights, grilles and interior panels do not swap. Reports at launch also said the Qin L EV did not offer the DiSus-C damping of the top Seal 06 EV. Compare the OE number on the old part with the listing before ordering across the two cars.

What changed with the 2027 Seal 06 EV?

The 2027 model launched on 11 August 2026. It keeps the 2,820 mm wheelbase, but the body grew from 4,720 mm to 4,870 mm long and from 1,880 mm to 1,890 mm wide, with new headlights and front styling. Second-generation Blade batteries of 52.868 kWh and 64.315 kWh replaced the 46.08 kWh and 56.64 kWh packs, and the motors moved to 120 kW and 240 kW. The car also gained an 800V platform with flash charging. Read the build date on the identification plate before ordering body, lighting, battery, motor or charging parts.

Can I fit 2027 battery or charging parts to an earlier car?

Do not assume they fit. The 2027 car uses second-generation Blade packs of different capacities, higher-output motors and an 800V platform built for flash charging, while the launch car peaks at 103 kW on DC. Treat the battery, motor, charging socket and high-voltage parts from one side of the August 2026 change as different from those on the other. The same caution applies to sister models that gained flash charging earlier in 2026, such as the Seal 06 GT. Check the build date on the identification plate, then match each part by OE number.

Which Seal 06 EV cars have DiSus-C damping?

DiSus-C is BYD's intelligent damping system, which adjusts damper stiffness to the road in real time. On the launch car it was fitted to the top 545 km trim only. The 470 km trim and the lower 545 km trim use conventional dampers. On the 2027 model it is offered on higher-end versions. Two launch trims share the 545 km range, so the range figure will not tell you which damper is fitted. Look at the damper on the car, or read the OE number on the old unit, before ordering a replacement.

What tyre sizes does the Seal 06 EV use?

The launch car was offered on 225/55 R17 and 225/50 R18 tyres. The sources we checked do not give tyre sizes for the 2027 model, so do not assume they match the earlier car. Wheel size varies by version, and two launch trims share the same 545 km range on different specifications, so the range badge does not tell you what is fitted. Read the size on the sidewall of the tyres already on the car before ordering tyres or wheels, and match the rims at the same time.

Does the Seal 06 EV need oil and filters?

It needs no engine oil, oil filter, air filter or spark plugs, because it has no engine. It still needs the routine parts every electric car has: brake fluid, coolant for the battery, motor and heat pump circuits, a cabin air filter, wiper blades, tyres and a healthy 12-volt system. Brake pads and discs often last longer than on a petrol car because the motor does much of the slowing. They can still corrode if they are used lightly. Follow the service schedule in the owner's handbook and order each item by its OE number.

How fast does the Seal 06 EV charge?

At launch, the car was quoted with a DC peak of 103 kW and a charge from 30 to 80 percent in 24 minutes. The 2027 model moved to an 800V platform with flash charging, which BYD says takes the battery from 10 to 70 percent in five minutes. That difference runs through the charging socket, cabling and battery hardware, so charging parts are specific to each version. If a car charges more slowly than it should, check the socket and cable first, then order the replacement by OE number.

Does a windscreen replacement affect the driver-assistance system?

Yes, so treat it as a sensor job. The God's Eye C driver-assistance system on the launch car uses three cameras behind the windscreen, with more cameras and radar around the car. A replacement screen must suit the camera mounting, and the cameras normally need recalibrating after the glass is changed. Some 2027 cars also carry a roof-mounted lidar with God's Eye B. Order the screen by the OE number on the old glass, and book calibration at the same time as the fitting.

Is the Seal 06 EV front or rear-wheel drive?

It is always rear-wheel drive. Every Seal 06 EV has a single motor at the rear axle, and no all-wheel-drive version is listed for either the launch car or the 2027 model. There are no front drive motor or front driveshaft parts to order. Motor output does differ by version: 110 kW or 160 kW on the launch car, and 120 kW or 240 kW on the 2027 model. Check which version the car is, then match any motor or drive part by OE number.

What suspension parts does the Seal 06 EV use?

The front uses dual ball-joint MacPherson struts and the rear a five-link independent layout. The dual ball-joint design splits the front lower arm into two links, and the rear has five links per side, each with its own bushings. A knock or vague steering can therefore come from several places. Kerb weight runs from 1,670 kg to 1,800 kg on the launch car, depending on the battery. Find the worn joint or bush before ordering, order each arm for the correct side, and match it by OE number.

Safety Recalls Affecting This Model

No campaign names the Seal 06 EV. The Chinese registry lists nothing on file for the series, and no Chinese, European, United Kingdom or Australian action names this car. Two campaigns sit close enough to cause confusion and neither reaches it. BYD India's voluntary recall of January 2026 names the Seal, a larger saloon on a different platform. The Chinese battery campaign of November 2025 names the Qin PLUS DM-i only. Neither covers the Seal 06 EV.

Complaints filed under the Seal 06 name about limited electric function belong to the Seal 06 DM-i, the plug-in hybrid, and they are owner complaints rather than a recall. If you have been told this saloon is under recall, check which car the notice actually names before acting on it, since the badge number is shared across cars that share no floorpan with this one.
