Denza N9 Parts

The Denza N9 is a six-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, launched August 2024, with front and rear motors giving all-wheel drive or a single rear motor with rear-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering that lets it pivot on the spot. One VIN-level identifier covers four separate versions, so a solid glass roof, a drone-bay roof, and two different battery packs all share the same code. Order against the part number, not the code.

Symptom Finder: Known Weak Points

What you see or hearCheck first
Low-frequency drone or a harsh, wooden ride over bumps The suspension bushings, including the subframe and control arm bushings. On a car over three tonnes these rubber parts carry heavy loads, so inspect them before assuming an air spring or damper fault.
Car sits low at one corner or shows a suspension warning The air spring on that corner, its air line and fittings, and the height sensor. Look for a leak at the spring before ordering a compressor, then match the part by OE number.
Brake judder or pads wearing fast for the mileage Pads and discs. Check disc thickness and scoring, inspect the calipers and hoses, and order each part by the OE number on the one fitted.
Engine warning light on a car driven mostly on battery Start with the lambda and emission sensors on the 1,995 cc petrol engine. Short running periods keep the engine from warming fully, and those sensors are the usual first suspects.
TPMS warning or a tyre that will not match after a change The sensor and valve on the affected wheel, and the tyre size on each axle. Flash Charge cars may run 305/40 R22 at the rear and 275/45 R22 at the front.
Parking sensor or driver-assistance warning after a minor knock The ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers and their brackets. A bent bracket can trigger the warning on its own, so check it before replacing the sensor.

About Denza N9 Parts

The Denza N9 is Denza's flagship large SUV, a six-seat plug-in hybrid launched in China on 21 March 2025. It is 5,258 mm long on a 3,125 mm wheelbase and sits on BYD's e3 platform. It has three electric motors, a 200 kW unit at the front and a 240 kW motor for each rear wheel, and the rear wheels also steer independently. A 1,995 cc turbocharged petrol engine works alongside them. That layout means the car needs two sets of parts: the motors, Blade battery, air suspension and driver-assistance sensors of a large electric car, and the oil, filters and emission sensors of a petrol engine. It weighs over three tonnes and runs on 22-inch wheels, so brakes, tyres and suspension bushings work hard. Every part on this page is listed by its OE number, and matching that number to the part you are replacing is the surest way to confirm a fit.

What to know before buying Denza N9 parts

Start by making sure the car is an N9. It is the largest Denza SUV, and the N8L, launched in October 2025, sits on the same e3 platform with a similar family look and similar lights. The N8L is shorter, though: 5,200 mm long on a 3,075 mm wheelbase, against 5,258 mm and 3,125 mm for the N9. A tape measure between the wheel centres settles it quickly. Check this before ordering body panels, lights or suspension parts, and confirm each part by OE number rather than assuming a Denza part carries across.

The biggest split in the N9 range is the battery. Cars sold from launch carry a 46.9 kWh first-generation Blade pack with about 202 km of CLTC electric range. The Flash Charge edition, launched on 18 May 2026, carries a 75.264 kWh second-generation Blade pack, gives 420 km of electric range and charges from 10 to 70 per cent in about five minutes on BYD's flash chargers. The body and motor outputs did not change, but battery, charging and high-voltage parts should be treated as different between the two. Read the build date on the identification plate and match the OE number before ordering anything on the high-voltage side.

Tyres are the next thing to check. Most N9s run 275/45 R22 on all four corners. The Flash Charge edition can also be built with a staggered set, 275/45 R22 at the front and a wider 305/40 R22 at the rear, and a new wheel design arrived with it. Read the size on the sidewall of a front and a rear tyre before ordering tyres, rims or TPMS sensors, and do not assume a matched set of four.

The roof varies too. BYD and DJI developed a drone station that sits on the rear of the N9's roof, a unit about 215 mm high with two powered doors, and some N9s stand 1,990 mm tall rather than the usual 1,830 mm. Look at the roof of the car before ordering roof trim, rails, seals or drone-station parts.

Some things are the same on every car. All N9s on sale have dual-chamber air suspension under the DiSus-A body control system and rear-wheel steering of up to about 10 degrees, so there is no steel-spring or passive-damper version to order for. The driver-assistance kit uses one lidar unit, five radar units, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 12 cameras. The ultrasonic sensors sit in the bumpers, so a bumper repair often needs sensors and brackets as well as the panel. For painted panels, order by the colour code on the car rather than the colour name, since two-tone finishes were added during 2025.

Before You Order: 7 Checks

  1. Measure the wheelbase if you are unsure whether the car is an N9 or an N8L: 3,125 mm is the N9, 3,075 mm the N8L.
  2. Match the OE number on the part you are replacing to the OE number on the listing before you order.
  3. Check whether the car is a Flash Charge edition, and read the build date on the identification plate, before ordering any battery, charging or high-voltage part.
  4. Read the size on a front and a rear tyre before ordering tyres, rims or TPMS sensors, since Flash Charge cars can run a wider rear tyre.
  5. Look at the roof before ordering roof trim, rails or drone-station parts, since some cars carry a DJI drone station.
  6. Order painted panels by the colour code on the car, not by the colour name.
  7. After a bumper repair, check the ultrasonic sensors and their brackets as well as the panel, and order each sensor by the OE number on the old unit.

Generations and Facelifts

The N9 has no direct predecessor. It is Denza's first large SUV, joining a range that already held the D9 MPV and the Z9 and Z9 GT, and it uses BYD's e3 layout, a scaled version of the four-motor e4 system used by the Yangwang U8, with one motor at the front and one for each rear wheel.

It was first shown at Auto Guangzhou on 15 November 2024, opened for pre-orders on 21 February 2025 and went on sale on 21 March 2025 in two trims, with a 46.9 kWh battery, six seats in three rows of two and 275/45 R22 tyres. A DJI drone station for the roof followed, with deliveries starting in June 2025.

The 2026 model year update arrived on 17 September 2025 in three trims. It kept the design and the mechanical specification and added four two-tone finishes (purple-gold, red-gold, blue-silver and green-silver), a new single-tone Frost Cloud Tea colour and a Golden Mountain Brown interior. For parts it matters mainly for painted panels and interior trim, which should be ordered by colour code and OE number.

The Flash Charge edition opened for pre-sale on 7 April 2026 and launched on 18 May 2026 in three trims. It keeps the body, the 2.0-litre engine and the 680 kW three-motor drive, but moves to a 75.264 kWh second-generation Blade battery, adds flash charging and brings an optional staggered tyre set with a wider rear. For parts, the battery, charging hardware and rear tyres are the areas to watch, and the build date on the identification plate shows which side of the change a car sits. The N9 has had no facelift, and the body shape is unchanged since launch.

Denza N9 Parts: Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make sure a part fits my Denza N9?

Match the OE number. Every part on this site is listed under the OE number printed on the original part, and if the number on the part you are replacing matches the listing, the part fits. On the N9 that matters because the battery, tyres and roof hardware vary from car to car, even though the body looks the same on every one. For battery or charging parts, also read the build date on the identification plate. If the old number is missing or unreadable, send a photo through the quote form and we will reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.

How can I tell an N9 from a Denza N8L?

Measure the wheelbase, the distance between the front and rear wheel centres. The N9 measures 3,125 mm and is 5,258 mm long. The N8L, launched in October 2025, measures 3,075 mm and is 5,200 mm long. Both sit on BYD's e3 platform and share a family look, including similar lights, so it is easy to order a part for the wrong car. Once you are sure which car you have, confirm body, lighting and suspension parts by the OE number on the old part.

Does the N9 have two different batteries?

Yes. Cars sold from the March 2025 launch carry a 46.9 kWh first-generation Blade battery with about 202 km of CLTC electric range. The Flash Charge edition, launched on 18 May 2026, carries a 75.264 kWh second-generation Blade battery with 420 km of range and much faster charging. The two packs are different parts, and the charging hardware changed with them. Read the build date on the identification plate, check whether the car is a Flash Charge edition, and match every high-voltage part by its OE number.

What tyre size does the N9 use?

Most N9s run 275/45 R22 on all four wheels. The Flash Charge edition can also be built with a staggered set, 275/45 R22 at the front and 305/40 R22 at the rear, and it brought a new wheel design as well. That means the front and rear tyres on a Flash Charge car may not be interchangeable. Read the size on the sidewall of a front tyre and a rear tyre before ordering, and match rims and TPMS sensors to the wheels actually fitted to the car.

Is there an N9 with conventional springs instead of air suspension?

No. Every N9 on sale has dual-chamber air suspension controlled by the DiSus-A body control system. There is no steel-spring or passive-damper version, so a coil spring or a plain damper will not suit the car. The air springs, dampers, height sensors and compressor work as one system, so when the ride changes, check the whole system before deciding which component has failed. Then order each replacement by the OE number on the unit you are taking off.

The N9 steers its rear wheels. What does that mean for parts?

Each rear wheel has its own 240 kW motor, and the rear wheels steer independently by up to about 10 degrees, giving a turning radius of about 4.65 metres. The rear axle therefore carries steering hardware that a conventional SUV does not have. Order rear axle parts by side, since left and right units can differ, and match each one by the OE number on the old part. If a rear-steer warning appears, check the alignment and the sensor wiring before replacing an actuator.

It is a plug-in hybrid. Does the N9 still need oil and filters?

Yes. Alongside its three electric motors, the N9 carries a 1,995 cc turbocharged petrol engine rated at 152 kW. It needs engine oil, an oil filter and an air filter, and it has the lambda and emission sensors of any modern petrol engine. Many owners drive short distances on battery power, so the engine can run in short bursts without fully warming up, which is hard on those sensors. Follow the engine's own service schedule and order filters and sensors by OE number.

My N9 has a drone on the roof. Are the roof parts different?

They can be. BYD and DJI developed a drone station that sits on the rear of the N9's roof, a unit about 215 mm high with two powered doors, and deliveries began in June 2025. Some N9s also stand 1,990 mm tall rather than the usual 1,830 mm. Before ordering roof trim, rails, seals or anything for the drone station, look at what is fitted to the roof of the car, then match each part by the OE number on the old one.

What changed with the 2026 model year N9?

The 2026 model year arrived on 17 September 2025 in three trims as an annual update. The design and mechanical specification stayed the same, and the changes were to colours. Four two-tone finishes were added (purple-gold, red-gold, blue-silver and green-silver), along with a new single-tone Frost Cloud Tea colour and a Golden Mountain Brown interior. For parts, that affects painted panels and interior trim. Order painted panels by the colour code on the car and trim by OE number. The bigger change came later, with the Flash Charge edition in May 2026.

Why do N9 brakes seem to wear quickly?

Weight is the main reason. The N9 weighs between about 3,130 kg and 3,289 kg depending on the version, runs on 22-inch wheels and can reach 100 km/h in under four seconds. Regenerative braking takes some of the load, but pads and discs still work harder than on a lighter car. When you replace them, check the discs for scoring and a worn lip, and inspect the calipers and hoses. Then match pads, discs and calipers to the OE numbers on the parts fitted.

Do I need new sensors after a bumper repair?

Often, yes. The N9's driver assistance uses one lidar unit, five radar units, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 12 cameras. The ultrasonic sensors sit in the bumpers, held in brackets that bend easily in a light knock, and a bent bracket can trigger a warning on its own. Before ordering, check each sensor and bracket around the damaged area as well as the panel itself. Order sensors by the OE number on the old unit, and the painted bumper by the colour code on the car.

What if I cannot find a number on the old part?

Look again once the part is off the car. Most parts carry an OE number on a label, a sticker or a moulded marking, often on a face you cannot see while the part is fitted. If there is still nothing readable, take photos of the part, any markings and where it sits on the car, then send them through the quote form with the build date from the identification plate. We reply within 24 hours, usually sooner. Please do not order a part simply because it looks similar.
