Denza N7 Parts

The Denza N7 is a five-seat electric SUV from BYD's Denza marque, launched July 2023 with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and 170 to 390 kW on tap. What decides a part is DiSus-A air suspension: standard on twin-motor cars, optional on the long-range single-motor car, and simply unavailable on the entry model. Confirm the suspension state before you search for a strut.

Symptom Finder: Known Weak Points

What you see or hearCheck first
Noise from the air-conditioning, or noise when the heating runs Owners have reported air-conditioning noise on this car. Check the compressor and its mounting first, then the evaporator housing, and order by the OE number on the failed unit.
Fogging on the forward camera behind the windscreen Owners have reported fogging on the front camera. Check the camera assembly and the seal around its housing, then order the camera or its cover by OE number.
Oil under the car near a drive motor, or a new whine under power Owners have reported motor oil leaks. Find out which motor is leaking, front or rear, since the two are different machines, then order seals or the unit for that axle.
Water inside a rear lamp Owners have reported water getting into the tail lamps. Check the lamp seal and the gasket against the body, then order the lamp or seal for the correct side.
Car sits low at one corner, or an air suspension warning appears On an air-sprung car, check the air spring, its air line and the compressor. Read the build date first, since single-chamber and dual-chamber springs are different parts.
Knock from the front suspension over bumps Check the control arm bushes and ball joints. The 2024 model moved to aluminium front lower arms, so check the build date and order the arm by OE number.
Driver-assistance or lidar warning after a front knock Check the lidar units in the fog-lamp areas of the bumper and their brackets. Look for bracket damage first, then order the sensor by OE number.

Most Replaced Parts on the Denza N7

  1. Control arms and bushingsFront lower arms and knuckles became aluminium for 2024, so check the build date
  2. Air-conditioning compressor and condenserOwners report compressor noise, so check the evaporator side as well
  3. Powertrain and drive-unit mountsFront motor mounts are only on all-wheel-drive cars, so confirm the drive layout first
  4. Coolant hoses, valves and sensorsAir-sprung cars also carry air lines, so trace a leak to its system before ordering
  5. Front and rear bumper coversLidar fitment and the 2024 restyle both change the front end, so check both

About Denza N7 Parts

The Denza N7 is a mid-size electric SUV from BYD's premium brand Denza. It was launched in July 2023 and sold in China only, in left-hand drive. It is 4,860 mm long on a 2,940 mm wheelbase and comes in two drive layouts. Rear-drive cars have a single permanent-magnet motor at the back, and all-wheel-drive cars add a 160 kW AC induction motor at the front. Most cars carry a 91.3 kWh Blade battery, and only the 2024 entry car has a 71.8 kWh pack. Some cars have DiSus-A air suspension and some do not, depending on version and year. For parts, this means the drive layout, the suspension type and the model year together decide what fits, and the model name alone does not. Every part on this page is listed by its OE number, and matching the number on the old part is the surest way to confirm it fits.

What to know before buying Denza N7 parts

Start with the drive layout, because it decides the wheels, the motors and much of the suspension. Rear-drive cars run staggered 19-inch wheels, 235/50 R19 at the front and 255/45 R19 at the rear, so front and rear tyres are separate orders. All-wheel-drive cars run 245/45 R20 on all four corners. Reading the tyre sidewall settles it in a minute. No N7 carries a spare wheel, only a tyre repair kit.

Next, establish the suspension. The N7 badge does not tell you whether the car has DiSus-A air suspension. At the July 2023 launch, four of the six versions had it and the two versions named Air did not. For 2024 it was standard on the all-wheel-drive cars, optional on the 702 km rear-drive car and not offered on the 550 km entry car. For 2025 only the all-wheel-drive car has it, and the two rear-drive versions use DiSus-C damping control instead. Look at the struts on the car before ordering a spring, strut, compressor or height sensor.

The date matters as much as the suspension type. The 2023 cars used single-chamber air springs, and the 2024 model, on sale from 1 April 2024, moved to dual-chamber springs. Reports on the same update describe a steel subframe replaced by an aluminium one, along with aluminium front lower control arms, steering knuckles and rear hub carriers. Read the build date on the identification plate before ordering any of these, then match each one by OE number.

The two motors are different machines. The rear motor is a permanent-magnet synchronous unit, rated at 230 kW on most cars and 170 kW on the 2024 entry car. The front motor on all-wheel-drive cars is a 160 kW AC induction unit. Motors and their mounts do not swap between axles or between versions. The battery is 91.3 kWh on every car except the 2024 entry car, which has 71.8 kWh.

At the front, the two lidar units sit in the fog-lamp areas of the bumper. They were optional on 2023 cars, fitted only to the top version for 2024 and standard on every 2025 car, so check whether the car has them before ordering a bumper or its brackets. The 2024 model also restyled the front lights, replacing the whisker-shaped daytime lights with a slim horizontal design, so headlamps differ either side of April 2024. Order painted panels by the colour code on the car, since new colours were added for 2024.

The N7 is a sibling of BYD's Sealion 07 EV, Song L EV and Seal. A part listed for one of those cars fits the N7 only if its OE number matches the number on your old part.

Before You Order: 7 Checks

  1. Read the tyre size on the sidewall first. If it says 235/50 R19 front and 255/45 R19 rear, the car is rear drive, and if it says 245/45 R20 all round, it is all-wheel drive. Order tyres by axle.
  2. Look at the struts before ordering any suspension part, since whether the car has DiSus-A air suspension depends on version and year. Order air or conventional parts to match.
  3. Check the build date on the identification plate before ordering air springs, control arms, knuckles, subframe parts or headlamps, since the April 2024 update changed all of them.
  4. Confirm which motor you are replacing, the front induction unit or the rear permanent-magnet unit, and order it and its mounts by the OE number on the old part.
  5. Check whether the car has lidar units in the front bumper before ordering a bumper or its brackets.
  6. Match the OE number on the part you are replacing to the OE number on the listing before you order.
  7. Order painted panels by the colour code on the car rather than by colour name.

Generations and Facelifts

The N7 began as the Denza Inception concept, shown at the Chengdu Auto Show in August 2022. The production car launched on 3 July 2023 as Denza's first SUV, in six versions. Buyers could choose rear drive or all-wheel drive, and every version had a 91.3 kWh Blade battery and two DC charging inlets. Four versions had DiSus-A air suspension with single-chamber air springs, and the two Air versions were built without it. Lidar in the front bumper was optional. The N7 is related to BYD's Sealion 07 EV, Song L EV and Seal, but it has its own body and it was never exported.

The 2024 model went on sale on 1 April 2024. It was a mild facelift, offered in four versions. The front lights were restyled with a slim horizontal design, and a new blue paint was added. Underneath, the air springs moved from single-chamber to dual-chamber. Reports on the update also describe aluminium replacing steel in the subframe, the front lower arms, the knuckles and the rear hub carriers. A new 550 km entry car arrived with a 71.8 kWh battery, a 170 kW rear motor and no air suspension option, and lidar was limited to the top version. For parts, April 2024 is the main date split on this car.

The 2025 model followed on 18 February 2025 in three versions. The body carried over and the 71.8 kWh entry car was dropped. God's Eye B driver assistance, with two lidar units, became standard on every version. Air suspension stayed on the all-wheel-drive version only, and the rear-drive cars moved to DiSus-C damping control. We have found no later update. Before ordering suspension, chassis, lighting or bumper parts, read the build date on the identification plate.

Denza N7 Parts: Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make sure a part fits my Denza N7?

Match the OE number. Every part on this site is listed under the OE number printed on the original part, and if the number on the part you are replacing matches the listing, the part fits. That check matters more than usual on the N7. The drive layout, the suspension type and the model year all change which part the car takes, so two cars with the same badge can need different struts, arms or bumpers. If the old part is missing or its number cannot be read, send it through the quote form with a photo and we will reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.

Does every N7 have DiSus-A air suspension?

No. At the 2023 launch, four of the six versions had DiSus-A air suspension, and the two versions named Air were built without it. For 2024 it was standard on the all-wheel-drive cars, optional on the 702 km rear-drive car and not available on the 550 km entry car. For 2025 only the all-wheel-drive version has DiSus-A, and the two rear-drive versions use DiSus-C damping control. Before ordering, look at the strut on the car. An air strut has a rubber air spring and an air line attached.

What changed on the N7's air springs for 2024?

The 2023 cars left the factory with single-chamber air springs. The 2024 model, which went on sale on 1 April 2024, moved to dual-chamber air springs. The two designs are different parts and do not share a part number. Read the build date on the car's identification plate before ordering an air strut, then confirm it by the OE number on the old strut. The same 2024 update changed several other chassis parts, so check the date before ordering control arms and knuckles as well.

What tyre sizes does the N7 use, and does it have a spare?

It depends on the drive layout. Rear-drive cars run staggered 19-inch wheels, with 235/50 R19 at the front and 255/45 R19 at the rear, so the tyres cannot be moved between axles. All-wheel-drive cars run 245/45 R20 on all four corners. No N7 carries a spare wheel, only a tyre repair kit, so a missing spare is normal and not a fault. Read the size on the sidewall of the tyre you are replacing and order it for the correct axle.

Is the N7's front motor the same as the rear one?

No. Every N7 has a permanent-magnet synchronous motor driving the rear wheels, and all-wheel-drive cars add a 160 kW AC induction motor at the front. The two are different kinds of machine and do not interchange. The rear motor also varies by version. The 2024 entry car has a 170 kW unit and the other versions have a 230 kW unit. Confirm the drive layout and the version, then order each motor and its mounts by the OE number on the old part.

Which Denza N7 has the 71.8 kWh battery?

Only the 2024 entry car, the 550 km rear-drive version that went on sale in April 2024. Every other N7, from the 2023 launch cars to the 2025 range, has a 91.3 kWh Blade battery. The entry car also has the 170 kW rear motor and was not offered with air suspension. A 71.8 kWh car is therefore always rear drive on conventional suspension. Confirm the version before ordering battery, mounting or suspension parts, and match each part by its OE number.

Where are the N7's lidar units, and does a bumper repair affect them?

The two lidar units sit low in the front bumper, one in each fog-lamp area, rather than on the roof. A front-end knock can damage a lidar unit, its bracket or its cover as well as the bumper itself. Not every car has them. Lidar was optional on 2023 cars, fitted only to the top version for 2024 and standard on every 2025 car. Check whether the car has lidar before ordering a bumper, then match the bumper, brackets and sensors by OE number.

Apart from the air springs, what else changed on the 2024 model?

Several chassis and lighting parts. Reports on the 2024 model describe the steel subframe replaced by an aluminium one, together with aluminium front lower control arms, steering knuckles and rear hub carriers. The front lights were restyled as well, with a slim horizontal design replacing the earlier whisker-shaped daytime lights. Do not assume parts from either side of the April 2024 change interchange. Read the build date on the identification plate, then match arms, knuckles, subframe parts and headlamps by OE number.

What changed with the 2025 model?

The 2025 model launched on 18 February 2025 in three versions, all with the 91.3 kWh battery. The main change was God's Eye B driver assistance, with two lidar units, which became standard on every version. Air suspension was kept for the all-wheel-drive version only, and the rear-drive cars use DiSus-C damping control. The rear-drive cars stand 1,620 mm high, against 1,602 mm for the air-sprung car. Before ordering parts, check the lidar hardware and the suspension type on the car.

Do BYD Sealion 07 EV, Song L EV or Seal parts fit the N7?

Some may. The N7 is a sibling of BYD's Sealion 07 EV, Song L EV and Seal, and parts shared across those cars can appear under their listings. Do not assume a part fits because the cars look alike or are related. The N7 has its own body, its own suspension choices and its own drive units. If a listing for one of those models shows the same OE number as the part on your N7, it fits. If the numbers differ, send us the old part number through the quote form.

Does the N7 have two charging inlets?

Yes. The N7 can charge from two DC guns at once, at up to 150 kW on one gun and 230 kW on two, so the car has two DC inlets rather than one. If only one side is damaged or faulty, identify which inlet it is before ordering. Match the replacement by the OE number on the old inlet rather than assuming both sides take the same part, and check the charging flap and its hinge while you are there.

Was the N7 exported or built in right-hand drive?

No. The N7 was sold in China only, in left-hand drive, and it has no export name or right-hand-drive version. If a listing offers a right-hand-drive N7 part, treat it with caution, since mirrored parts such as the steering rack and dashboard were never made for this car. Order parts for the Chinese-market car, and match every one of them by the OE number on the part you are replacing.
