Tailgate Hinge (Left) for BYD Song Pro & Yuan PLUS, OE 12466299-00

This one is the left hand hinge. Sides are given as you sit in the car facing forward, so on a right hand drive car the left tailgate hinge is the passenger side. The opposite side is a separate listing under its own OE number, and the two are not the same part, so identify which hinge you are replacing before ordering. If both are coming off, you will need the right hand item as well. The fitment table on this page shows the models this left hinge fits.

This hinge fits several BYD models, so the two named in the title are not the whole story and are not the test either. Use the fitment table on this page. Match the model, then the build year, and confirm OE number 12466299-00 or the alternative reference SA2FC-6306100 against the hinge on the car. A close entry in the table is not a match, so read it exactly. Where the table does not answer it, send a photograph of the old hinge and its label through the quote route and we will check it against the OE number.

Yes. SA2FC-6306100 is the alternative reference for the left tailgate hinge listed under OE number 12466299-00. Either number leads to the same item. Read the stamping on the old hinge before you order, since it is often the alternative reference rather than the OE number that appears on the part itself. If what you are reading matches neither of the two shown on this page, send the marking with your model and year through the quote route and we will identify it.

Delivery takes 8 to 25 days from your order to your door. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 12466299-00. If anything about the timing matters for a booked repair, ask through the quote route on this page. Keep the packaging until you have compared the new part with the one you removed.

Metal is the material given for it. Nothing further is said about the finish or how it stands up over time, only the material name itself. If you are unsure the old hinge is the same shape, take a photograph and ask through the quote route before you order.

No aftermarket equivalent exists for OE number 12466299-00, so the Original/Genuine hinge from BYD is the single version on offer. When both tiers exist for a part, they are shown together on the same page and priced there. One tier is therefore a statement about what is available, and not a limit placed on you. If someone has quoted you a different reference for the Song Pro or the Yuan PLUS, put it through the quote route with the year and we will look at it.
