About This Part
Build Your Dreams wordmark badge for the tailgate, supplied under OE 12712323-00 and BYD reference EL-3921970. This slim lettering emblem fits a wide range including the e3 (2019-2026), e2 (2019-2025) and Song PLUS DM-i, and more BYD models. The self-adhesive script mounts on the rear of the car to spell out the Build Your Dreams name. A neat replacement when the original nameplate has peeled, faded or been lost, also sought as a rear badge or wordmark emblem.

Frequently Asked Questions: OE 12712323-00
The old badge has EL-3921970 on the back. Same part?
Yes. This wordmark is catalogued both as OE number 12712323-00 and as EL-3921970, and the two refer to the same item. Badges often carry only the supplier reference on the reverse, so the second number is the one most people find. Either is enough to identify this page. If the back of yours is unmarked, compare the badge against the packaged dimensions given on this listing, and use the quote route with a photograph if you still want it confirmed.
When will it arrive?
Allow 8 to 25 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. The packaging details are shown on this page. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the number on your old part against OE 12712323-00. If anything about the timing matters for a booked repair, ask through the quote route on this page.
Is the badge metal or plastic?
The badge is metal, and it is supplied new by BYD. A metal wordmark is a rigid piece rather than a flexible decal, so it wants a clean and undamaged surface to sit against. Look at the panel on your own e3 or e2 before ordering, and confirm that the fitment table on this page covers your build.
Whereabouts on the car does the wordmark go?
It is an exterior part, fitted on the outside of the body rather than anywhere inside the cabin. No side is given for it and no front or rear position, which means there is not a left and a right version of this wordmark to pick between. Check the panel on your own e3 or e2 before ordering, and use the fitment table on this page to confirm the listing takes in your car.
Why does the page show only one option?
The Original/Genuine wordmark is the only version shown for OE number 12712323-00, and it is made by BYD. No Aftermarket alternative is offered for it here, so the page carries a single option rather than two tiers. The badge is new. If a bodyshop has quoted you another reference for the same wordmark, send it in through the quote route on this page and we will look at whether it resolves to this same item before you order.
