Yangwang U7 Parts

The Yangwang U7 covers two different cars under one name. An electric sedan and a plug-in hybrid on a longer wheelbase, launched together in March 2025 and told apart by VIN, each running BYD's e⁴ platform with a motor at every wheel and double wishbones at the front against a multi-link rear. Check which body you have before ordering, since length, wheelbase and part codes all diverge from there.

Symptom Finder: Known Weak Points

What you see or hearCheck first
Unsettled ride or a suspension warning The corner assembly. First find out whether the car has DiSus-Z linear motors or DiSus-A+ air springs and dampers, since no part serves both, then order by OE number.
One corner sits low or the car is slow to rise after parking On DiSus-A+ cars, the air spring and its lines. Check for a leak at the spring before ordering, then match the part by OE number and corner.
Brake squeal, judder or uneven pedal feel Pads and discs. Confirm the disc fitted is carbon-ceramic before ordering pads, since the pad compound must suit the disc.
Engine warning light on the plug-in hybrid Start with the lambda and emission sensors and the fuel filter on the 2.0-litre flat-four. The electric U7 has no engine, so this row applies to the hybrid only.
Parking sensor or driver-assistance warning after a minor knock The ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers and their brackets. A bent bracket can trigger the warning on its own, so check it before replacing the sensor.
A body panel is close but will not line up Check whether the panel is for the electric car or the plug-in hybrid. The two differ by 95 mm in length and 40 mm in wheelbase.
Steering warning or the car tracks oddly after a rear kerb strike The rear-wheel steering hardware as well as the rear suspension. Inspect both, then order by OE number and side.

About Yangwang U7 Parts

The Yangwang U7 is Yangwang's large luxury saloon. It went on sale in China on 27 March 2025 in two forms, a fully electric car and a plug-in hybrid. Both drive all four wheels through four separate electric motors, one at each corner, and both steer the rear wheels by up to 20 degrees. The plug-in hybrid also has a 2.0-litre turbocharged flat-four petrol engine and a 60-litre fuel tank, so it needs oil, filters and fuel system parts that the electric car does not. The two versions have different lengths and wheelbases, so body panels differ between them. The 2026 model then changed the battery and moved most trims to a different suspension system. Every part on this page is listed by its OE number, and matching the number on your old part is the surest way to confirm a fit.

What to know before buying Yangwang U7 parts

Start by working out which U7 you have, because the badge covers two different bodies. The electric car is 5,265 mm long on a 3,160 mm wheelbase, and the plug-in hybrid is 5,360 mm long on a 3,200 mm wheelbase. Widths are 1,998 mm and 2,000 mm. A tape measure between the wheel centres settles it in a minute, and a fuel filler flap marks the hybrid at a glance. Treat bumpers, sills, underbody panels and other body parts as specific to one version until the OE number shows otherwise.

The drive motors are the next place orders go wrong. Both versions use four motors, but they are rated differently. The electric car totals 960 kW, and the plug-in hybrid raises its front motors to 260 kW for a total of 1,000 kW. Front and rear motors are separate parts, and the same power figure can appear on more than one of them. Order each motor by the OE number on the unit you are replacing, and note the corner it came from.

Suspension is the biggest trap. The U7 launched with DiSus-Z, a body control system that uses an electromagnetic linear motor at each corner in place of a hydraulic damper. From the 2026 model, DiSus-Z is kept for the top EV Super 4WD trim only. The other four trims use DiSus-A+, a dual-chamber air spring over a dual-valve hydraulic damper. No damper or spring part serves both systems, so check the corner assembly on the car, as well as its build date and trim, before ordering anything for the suspension.

A few other things vary from car to car. Carbon-ceramic brake discs are listed, so check the disc actually fitted before ordering pads or a caliper. Launch cars run 275/40 R21 tyres from Continental in two patterns, and a 20-inch forged wheel is also offered, so read the size on the sidewall before ordering tyres or rims. Four-seat cars have independent rear seats, a rear control screen and a cool box that five-seat cars lack, so count the seats before ordering rear cabin parts. The driver-assistance system uses three lidar units, five radar units and 12 ultrasonic sensors. The ultrasonic sensors sit in the bumpers, so a bumper repair may need sensors and brackets as well as the panel.

Finally, read the build date on the identification plate before ordering battery, charging or suspension parts. The 2026 model, launched on 5 March 2026, brought a new battery, faster charging and the suspension split, and parts from either side of that change should be matched by OE number.

Before You Order: 7 Checks

  1. Measure the wheelbase to confirm the version, 3,160 mm for the electric U7 and 3,200 mm for the plug-in hybrid, then order body parts for that version.
  2. Match the OE number on the part you are replacing to the OE number on the listing before you order.
  3. Check whether the car has DiSus-Z linear motors or DiSus-A+ air springs and dampers before ordering any corner part.
  4. Read the build date on the identification plate before ordering battery, charging or suspension parts, since the 2026 model changed them.
  5. Order drive motors by the OE number and corner of the old unit, and ignore the power figure when matching.
  6. Read the tyre size on the sidewall before ordering tyres or rims, since 21-inch and 20-inch wheels are both offered.
  7. Count the seats before ordering rear cabin parts, since four-seat and five-seat cars differ in the rear.

Generations and Facelifts

The U7 sits alongside Yangwang's U8 SUV and U9 supercar and uses the same approach to drive, with one electric motor at each wheel. It was first unveiled as an electric car in January 2024, pre-sales opened at Auto Guangzhou in November 2024, and the plug-in hybrid version appeared in early 2025. Both went on sale together on 27 March 2025 in four-seat and five-seat form. Production started in May and deliveries began in June 2025. Launch cars had a 135.5 kWh battery in the electric version and 52.4 kWh in the hybrid, DiSus-Z body control, 275/40 R21 tyres and rear-wheel steering.

The 2026 model arrived on 5 March 2026 in five trims. There are hybrid and electric versions of the five-seat Luxury and four-seat Flagship, plus the EV Super 4WD. Three changes matter for parts. The electric car is offered with either the 135.5 kWh battery, rated at 860 km CLTC, or a new second-generation Blade battery of 150.01 kWh with much faster charging and a range of up to 1,006 km, so battery parts depend on the version as well as the year. The hybrid's electric range is 200 or 220 km depending on version. DiSus-Z became exclusive to the EV Super 4WD, and the other trims use DiSus-A+ with air springs and dual-valve hydraulic dampers. A 20-inch forged wheel was also offered alongside the 21-inch wheel.

The dimensions of both versions did not change, and the U7 has had no facelift. Before ordering battery, charging or suspension parts, read the build date on the identification plate and check which suspension system is actually fitted.

Yangwang U7 Parts: Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make sure a part fits my Yangwang U7?

Match the OE number. Every part on this site is listed under the OE number printed on the original part, and if the number on the part you are replacing matches the listing, the part fits. That check matters on the U7 because the electric car and the plug-in hybrid differ in length and wheelbase, and the 2026 model changed the battery and the suspension. If the old part is missing or its number cannot be read, send a photo through the quote form and we will reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.

Are the electric U7 and the plug-in hybrid the same body?

No. The electric U7 is 5,265 mm long on a 3,160 mm wheelbase, and the plug-in hybrid is 5,360 mm long on a 3,200 mm wheelbase. The hybrid is also 2 mm wider and 2 mm lower. That difference affects bumpers, sills, underbody panels and anything else that follows the length of the body. A fuel filler flap marks the hybrid at a glance, and a tape measure between the wheel centres confirms it. Once you know which car you have, match each body part by its OE number.

Why can't I order a U7 drive motor by its power rating?

Because the rating does not identify the part. The electric U7 has four motors totalling 960 kW, and the plug-in hybrid raises its two front motors to 260 kW for a total of 1,000 kW. Front and rear motors are separate parts, and the same power figure can appear on more than one of them, so a listing that matches on power can still be the wrong motor. Read the OE number on the motor you are replacing, note which corner it came from, and order against that number.

Which suspension system does my U7 have?

It depends on the car. The U7 launched in March 2025 with DiSus-Z, which uses an electromagnetic linear motor at each corner in place of a hydraulic damper. From the 2026 model, DiSus-Z is kept for the EV Super 4WD trim only, and the other four trims use DiSus-A+, a dual-chamber air spring over a dual-valve hydraulic damper. No damper or spring fits both systems. Check the build date and trim, look at the corner assembly on the car, and order by the OE number on the old unit.

Does the U7 have carbon-ceramic brakes?

Carbon-ceramic discs are listed for the U7, working alongside regenerative braking from the four motors. Carbon-ceramic discs need pads made for them, and the wrong pad compound can damage the disc surface. Before ordering pads, a disc or a caliper, look at the disc on the car and read the OE number on the part you are replacing. Order the pads to suit the disc actually fitted, and match the caliper by its own OE number rather than treating it as a generic part.

What tyre sizes does the U7 use?

Launch cars run 275/40 R21 on 21-inch wheels, and Continental supplies two tyres in that size. The PremiumContact C is aimed at range and long wear, and the SportContact 7 at grip. A 20-inch forged wheel is also offered on the 2026 model, and it takes a different tyre size. Because the wheel is chosen car by car, read the size on the sidewall of the tyres already fitted before ordering, and match the rims at the same time.

Does the U7 need engine oil and filters?

Only the plug-in hybrid. It has a 2.0-litre turbocharged flat-four petrol engine rated at 203 kW and a 60-litre fuel tank, so like any petrol car it needs engine oil, an oil filter, an air filter, spark plugs, and fuel lines and filters. The electric U7 has no engine and no fuel system, so none of those parts apply to it. Confirm which version you have first, then order service parts by the OE numbers on the old items.

What changed with the 2026 model?

The 2026 model launched on 5 March 2026 with five trims. The electric car is offered with either the 135.5 kWh battery or a new second-generation Blade battery of 150.01 kWh with much faster charging, so battery parts depend on the version as well as the year. The hybrid's electric range is 200 or 220 km depending on version. DiSus-Z body control was limited to the EV Super 4WD trim, and the other trims moved to DiSus-A+. The dimensions did not change. Read the build date on the identification plate before ordering battery, charging or suspension parts, and match each part by OE number.

Do four-seat and five-seat U7s take the same interior parts?

Not in the rear. Four-seat cars have two independent rear seats with electric leg rests, a control screen in the centre armrest and a cool box. Five-seat cars have none of those. Equipment such as the 12.8-inch curved central screen is fitted to both layouts, so front cabin parts are less likely to split. Count the seats before ordering anything for the rear cabin, then match the part by the OE number on the one you are replacing.

What sensors does the U7 use for driver assistance?

The U7 uses Yangwang's God's Eye A system, which has three lidar units, five millimetre-wave radar units, 12 ultrasonic sensors and a set of cameras. The ultrasonic sensors sit in the bumpers, so even a light knock can damage a sensor or bend its bracket, and a bent bracket can trigger a warning on its own. After a bumper repair, check each sensor and bracket, order replacements by the OE number on the old unit, and have the system calibrated before relying on it.

Does rear-wheel steering add parts to the U7?

Yes. The U7 steers its rear wheels by up to 20 degrees in either direction, which gives it a 4.85-metre turning radius even though the car is over five metres long. As a result, the rear axle carries steering hardware as well as suspension, and a kerb strike at the back can damage both. If the car tracks oddly or shows a steering warning after rear damage, inspect the rear steering parts as well as the suspension, and order by OE number and side.

Can I keep driving a U7 with a punctured tyre?

For a short distance. Yangwang says the U7 can detect a tyre losing pressure and keep driving on three wheels at up to 80 km/h for as much as 30 km, using its four motors to keep the car stable. That is enough to reach a workshop, but the tyre, and possibly the wheel, will still need replacing. Read the size on the sidewall, check the rim for damage, and order the replacement tyre to match the others on the same axle.
