Timing Cover for BYD Sealion 06 DM-i, OE 14305049-00

Check the OE number on your old cover, 14305049-00, against the one printed there before you order. This part is also listed under 472QC-1021012, so either number matches if that is what you find stamped on the original. Once you have confirmed the number, use the fitment table on this page to match it against your exact model. That is the surest way to land on the right cover rather than going on the model name alone.

Do not fit it on the strength of the old number alone. Check the model and model year shown on your registration document against the fitment table on this page before you order. That comparison is what confirms the cover is right for your BYD Sealion 06 DM-i, not the number stamped on the worn part in your hand. If the table lists your model and year, order with confidence. If it does not, use the quote route on this page rather than guessing.

It is metal, built to sit in the engine bay and take the running heat from the timing drive without warping. Plastic covers in this area can crack over time, so a metal replacement is the sturdier choice for this position. Before you order, look at the side the old cover sits on, how it is positioned against the block, and which fixings hold it in place, then match those details to your own car so the new one lines up the same way.

Fitted in the engine bay, within the timing drive area of the engine, is where this part belongs. If you are matching parts against a manual, a diagram or a listing that uses a different reference, this component is also listed under 472QC-1021012, and that code can confirm you are looking at the same item even when the description on the page in front of you reads differently. Keep that reference to hand when you are checking sources outside this page, so you do not order the wrong item by mistake.
