Frequently Asked Questions: OE 11720563-00
The fan I removed has a different number moulded into it. Does this listing still apply?
This fan is also known as HAEV-1308010A. If the moulding on the unit you have taken out carries that reference rather than 11720563-00, it is the same part under a second number. Wipe the dirt off the old moulding and read it in good light before you decide it is unmarked, since a number under road grime is easy to miss. Where nothing is readable, send a photograph of the old fan and its label through the quote route and we will confirm it against the OE number.
How soon will the fan get to me?
Allow 8 to 28 days for delivery, counted from your order to your door. If the car is standing while you wait, tell us when you order and we will say where this one sits. The shipping cost for your country is shown on this page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Before you order, check the OE number on your old part against the one on this page.
What is this fan assembly made from?
The fan assembly is plastic, listed as New, in black. Plastic keeps the weight down, and weight is shown on this page. It also means the moulding does not enjoy being levered on or dropped onto a hard floor, so unpack it carefully and support it by the frame rather than the blades.
Where does this fan sit on the car?
This fan mounts in the engine bay. That is the whole of the location detail given for the part. Nothing here describes the bracketry or the connector, so those should be checked against the unit you are taking off. Before ordering, confirm your model in the fitment table on this page, then match either 11720563-00 or the alternative reference against the old assembly so you know you are replacing like with like.
Why is only one version of this fan available?
Only the Original/Genuine fan from BYD is available under 11720563-00. That is a statement about our own stock rather than about the wider trade. If you want an alternative investigated before you buy, use the quote route with a photograph of the old part and the OE number, and we will tell you what we can and cannot source. Keep the old electric cooling fan until the new one is fitted, in case the two need comparing.
